The Brand Manager is responsible for the marketing strategies development and plans across commercial operations to achieve the financial and market share objectives of the sub-brand under their responsibility. Leads the development of sub-category / brands strategies including Innovation Grid, Brand activations, Promotional Events, Media and 5P strategies, taking into consideration the business dynamics and opportunities. Drives the execution of margin improvement and simplification initiatives within sub-brand.



Responsibilities:

  • Develop pet parent and veterinarian targeted Growth Strategies by sub-brand, species, product form, and/or condition

  • Drive Product Superiority by identifying, substantiating and activating differentiated claims in integrated marketing communications

  • Identify issues / opportunities and propose action plans to achieve the objectives of the brand

  • Develop & utilize strong consumer & shopper insights of the category, market and segments

  • Define Global Pricing & Portfolio Strategies and Competitive Benchmarking

  • Gain Senior Mgt alignment to brand strategies and go-to-market plans

  • Develop omni-channel marketing, communication and media strategies using insights & analytics to drive share growth

  • Lead Strategic Brand Campaigns overseeing the development and global rollout of equity campaigns 

  • Analyze data (sales, competitive, category) and identify key insights that can be turned into measurable marketing plans

  • Lead global Portfolio Optimization efforts to align with regional needs

  • Manage brand A&P budgets

  • Lead & deploy commercial projects ensuring business continuity

  • Ongoing monitoring and analysis on brand sales, volume, market share, competitive insights.

  • Support Long Lead Planning, Budget Review, and Mid-Year Review

  • Active collaboration with numerous functions including Insights, Innovation, Digital, Data & Analytics, Professional Veterinary Affairs, Customer Development,  Supply Chain, Legal/Regulatory, S&T, and Corporate Communications

  • Manage large cross-functional teams to lead commercialization efforts



Required Qualifications:

  • Bachelor's Degree

  • 5+ years of experience in CPG marketing, retail marketing experience or agency experience

  • Brand marketing knowledge



Preferred Qualifications: 

  • MBA

  • At least 2 years of marketing experience in Animal Healthcare or Human Healthcare

  • Digital/eComm marketing knowledge (paid search, digital display, social, etc)

  • Knowledge of Retail Environment strategy

  • Ability to prioritize multiple tasks simultaneously

  • Critical thinking & problem solving

  • Strong analytical skills and ability to uncover measurable insights in large datasets

  • Effective communicator

  • Ability to achieve operational results

  • Influence independently, negotiate effectively and build relationships with cross functional team members


Compensation and Benefits
Salary Range $124,000.00 - $155,000.00 USD

Pay is determined based on experience, qualifications, and location. Salaried employees may also be eligible for discretionary bonuses, profit-sharing, and long-term incentives for Executive-level roles.

Benefits: Salaried employees enjoy a comprehensive benefits package, including medical, dental, vision, basic life insurance, paid parental leave, disability coverage, and participation in the 401(k) retirement plan with company matching contributions subject to eligibility requirements. Additional benefits include a minimum of 15 vacation/PTO days (hourly employees receive a minimum of 120 hours) and 13 paid holidays (vacation days are prorated based on the employee's hire date within the calendar year). Paid sick leave is adjusted based on role and location in accordance with local laws. Detailed information regarding paid sick leave entitlements will be provided to employees upon hiring and may be subject to adjustments based on changes in legislation or company policies.
