This position will work in crucial elements of an effective Supply Chain Operations Program, including aspects as Supply Chain Optimization, SOP Development, and Continuous Improvement activities.  This individual will assist in developing and tracking data required to supervise and drive continuous improvement, and in delivering world class supply chain performance.

 

This role will act as the site resource for local training needs.  This includes the maintenance and implementation of the Technician Certification Program for both Operations and Maintenance.  This will also include being the site LMS (Learning Management System) coordinator and subject matter expert. 

 

Core Responsibilities:

  • Supports the Technician Certification Program by reviewing the program annually and providing vital updates, maintaining training records, and ensuring adherence to the program

  • Develops and maintains technician training guidelines for departmental specific equipment for new hires as well as departmental cross training

  • Implements, tracks and reports on  annual training through the LMS systems by being the LMS site administrator

  • Supports the various functions by assisting with maintenance and training of the LMS system for training and record keeping

  • Keeps Record of Compliance trainings including Safety Training, Code of Conduct, among others

  • Assists in development of facility SOPs and SWIS documents to support People Capability standards.  This includes training others on the creation of SWIS and coordinating training of new procedures and documentation.  

  • Coordinates new hire training schedules

  • Crafts and maintains annual and quarterly training plans

  • Facilitates training sessions

  • Other duties as assigned

 

Basic Requirements:

  • High School Diploma or equivalent

  • Strong Digital literacy (Google Suite or Microsoft Office proficiency), ability to effectively coordinate, access, input and retrieve information

  • Ability to read/write/speak and understand English

  • Strong skills in crafting and facilitating presentations to groups of various sizes

  • Ability and willingness to transfer knowledge and train others

  • Strong interpersonal and communication skills; ability to develop and express ideas

  • Planning and organizational skills/project management and time management skills

 

Preferred Requirements:

  • Bachelor’s Degree is highly preferred

  • 2 years Pet Food/Food Manufacturing Equipment Experience (highly preferred)

  • SAP Documentation Management System to maintain LMS in the SAP training module

  • Canva and Smart sheets

  • Create significant and accurate SOPs/LOTO and other procedures as well as Process Picture Maps

 

 

 


Compensation and Benefits
Salary Range $60,000.00 - $79,000.00 USD

Pay is based on multiple non-discriminatory, individualized factors including but not limited to experience, job-related knowledge and education, skills and office/market location. In addition to base salary, salaried employees are eligible for annual discretionary bonuses, profit-sharing and, for Executive-level (salary grade 16 and above) roles only, long-term incentives in the form of Restricted Stock Units and/or Stock Options.

Subject to the terms and conditions of the applicable benefits plans then in effect, all salaried employees are also eligible for a competitive benefits package which includes:

  • Paid Sick Leave: Based on location and consistent with applicable state and local law, employees receive a minimum of 40 hours of paid sick leave on January 1st of each year
  • Paid Parental Leave: Eligible employees may take up to eight weeks of paid parental leave and 12 weeks of unpaid leave (varies for employees with fewer than 12 months of service and is subject to hours worked requirements)
