The Equipment Engineer - Injection Molding helps us optimally managing Maintenance activities for an assigned set of equipment, utilizing data and optimization tools to optimally handle maintenance processes, developing collaborative partnerships with CP colleagues to deliver the agreed to business results while maintaining positive employee relations. The primary accountabilities of the role include daily maintenance control, customer service, area financial performance, Quality, EHS, Labor Relations, people and team development.

 

This position is a valuable member of the Focus Factory management team, to ensure delivery of business results in his/her area. He/she will work within a structure that requires considerable connection with Focus Factory production and Planning, guide and empower teams in the implementation of Factory strategy. Detailed duties are as below:

  • Supervises all activities related to maintenance, repair, overhaul, trouble-shooting, and installation of factory equipment and production line set-ups for product changes and building related as well.
  • Coordinates activities of the area specific Maintenance Planners to ensure materials and resources are readily available for work and prioritized. Works with the storeroom coordinator to maintain parts management.
  • Implements the standards of Factory Performance & Reliability (FP&R) within the teams, with focused emphasis in regard to People Capability, Autonomous Maintenance, Planned Maintenance, Continuous Improvement, Production Planning.
  • Maintains specifications, parameters, and procedures for equipment which are consistent with Quality and EHS Standards

Additional responsibilities may be added as below:

  • Provides guidance and training to plant operations to foster asset utilization. Trains line operators & technicians in operational and mechanical diagnosis, routine repairs and safety systems.
  • Joins developing preventive maintenance programs and ensures their implementation in the most efficient and expedient manner
  • Collaborates closely with the company Operational Excellence coordinators to implement all as required.

What we require:

  • Bachelor degree in Mechanical/Mechatronics/ Automation or related technical fields
  • 2+ years experience in Engineering/ Maintenance field
  • Your practical experience in working with Injection Molding machines/ field counts.

What we prefer:

  • English language proficiency is a plus
  • Proficient computer and coding skills in Google Suites, PLC, Data analytics, and ability to learn company specific tools & programs
  • Passion for continuous learning and adopting new technology
