The Senior Officer - Logistics responsible for effectively managing all functions of the demand management and order fulfillment processes for exported and imported items. They must deliver the agreed to business results while maintaining positive employee relations.  The primary accountabilities of the role include customer service, subsidiary Logistics financial performance, quality, regulatory, people and organization development.  

What you will contribute

  • Drives logistics & continuous improvement activities (storage, shipping) including: inventory control, warehousing, transportation, logistics planning, and order processing & customer service.
  • Manages international shipping / receiving process, working with Freight forwarders and Brokers to ensure proper documentation is completed to meet all government regulations.
  • Standardizes and optimizes Warehouse inbound, outbound & stock count process to enhance improvements and capacities.
  • Monitors Warehouse overall operation excellence and performance, enforcing policies and safety regulations.
  • Maintains clear communication & close co-operation with Customer Service, Materials Planning, Manufacturing, & major suppliers/vendors.
  • Ensures proper documentation, including transit documents and customs clearances, exists for shipments and is accurately processed in a timely manner.
  • Plans and schedules appropriate modes of transportation based on daily needs, maintaining a cost-effective balance between customer service and cost of shipment.
  • Develops standardized processes for clients and 3rd party providers including Standard Operating Procedures (SOPs), Key Performance Indicators (KPIs), reporting, and compliance requirements.
  • Resolves all internal and external client customer service issues in a cost-effective and expeditious manner to ensure service satisfaction.
  • Supports the launch and implementation of new systems (like Advanced Planning & Optimization), driving continuous improvement in their use.

What we are looking for

  • Bachelor’s degree in Logistics and Supply Chain Management or related field
  • At least 02 years of experience in Logistics
  • Proven experience collaborating with external partners, including 3PL/4PL providers and customs departments. 
  • Proficient in ERP systems (SAP preferred) 
  • Strong analytical skills with experience using data analysis tools to drive strategic decisions and optimize supply chain performance.
