What you will do

• Accountable for the Purchasing Key Performance Indicators (KPIs) and working with the local Supply Chain

• Executes effective negotiations for specific local raw material, packaging materials and finished goods from External Manufacturers

• Implements and monitors the Procurement budget for the specific materials and finished goods of responsibility

• Accountable for optimizing raw and packing material inventories

• Interfaces with suppliers’ sales, technical and other functional groups as well as Colgate Supply Chain, Technology, Marketing and Finance functions to enforce Purchasing policies, resolves issues, aligns service and financial strategies

• Ensures new products are executed effectively together with New Product launch teams.

• Contributes to local Funding the Growth Programs

• Leverages SAP in day-to-day function, including entering prices into the system (where responsible)

• Executes efforts in using “e-tools” (auctions, e-Savings, etc.) to help drive Funding the Growth, simplification and standardization programs

​​​​​​​

• Accountable for adherence to Colgate-Palmolive, and governmental guidelines related to EOHS, Quality, and Regulatory for materials of responsibility. Develops awareness, and influences compliance with local government laws and regulations pertaining to materials.

• Inspiring Leadership.  Coaching individuals and Developing collaboration in team

​​​​​​​

• Provides management oversight & coaching for one assistant procurement staff  inclusive of  performance appraisals, and delegation of work

Required Qualifications

• Master or Bachelor Degree in Technical or Business fields.

​​​​​​​

• Minimum 5 Years of Functional Experience and atleast 2 years in managerial or supervisor roles.

​​​​​​​

• Consumer Goods Industry Experience will be advantaged.

​​​​​​​

• Experience in packaging.

​​​​​​​

• Project Management Experience.​​​​​​​

​​​​​​​​​​​​​​​​​​​​​

• Working experience in manufacturing business.

​​​​​​​

• Proactive, Initiative, good analytical, interpersonal & communication skills.

​​​​​​​

• Mobility to Chonburi plant and other Colgate subsidiaries.

​​​​​​​

• Good command of both spoken & written English.

​​​​​​​

• Proficient in using Google tools is preferable. Other computer skills.
