Job Summary

  • The CS&L is responsible for providing Customer Service/Supply Chain management and support to the Thailand team, by using capabilities and expertise as it pertains to supply chain information, processes and systems with our customers.
  • The CS&L plays a leading role in the link between Order Management, Demand Planning, Sales Planning and the execution of the marketing grid to ensure alignment.
  • The CS&L is accountable for the Customer Service Key Performance Indicators (KPI) and working with the entire Supply Chain and Thailand team to improve results, including excellent service levels from the US business and optimizing in country inventories.
  • The CS&L generates growth and profitability opportunities for both Customers/3PL and Hill’s by working with our 3PL to reduce cost, improve customer service and implement process innovation.
  • The CS&L supplies to the ongoing development of standard methodologies across the Supply Chain and Customer Development organizations in Taiwan and ensures that collaborative Supply Chain initiatives are agreed, developed and executed with excellence.


Principal Duties and Responsibilities



  • “First Point of Contact” for Thailand Customer Service / Supply Chain contacts, so as to support initiative of “easy to do business with”.
  • Review Thailand replenishment requirements with Hill’s US (weekly).
  • Collate, review and submit Replenishment Forecast to Hill’s US (monthly).
  • Collate and submit Hill’s registration documents to KFA to ensure timely clearance of inbound shipments.
  • Communicate and work with Taiwan Customers and 3PL to achieve order fill objectives.
  • Respond to Customer requests, problems, and issues in a timely and professional manner.
  • Support & co-ordinate execution and communication of Activity Grid (including New Products, Transitions and Discontinuations).
  • Communicates proactively with Customers, 3PL and the local Hill’s team when supply execution issues are experienced to handle customer expectations.
  • Assist Hill’s in management and communication of slow moving and obsolete inventories (SLOB).
  • Lead SLOB & Product Damages Claims process. Produce weekly / monthly Reports, detailing performance metrics, inventory status and/or supply and obsolescence issues.
  • Participate in regular Reviews with local, regional and global Hill’s team. Act as an interface between Hill’s Replenishment, Customer Service & Logistics, Product Supply and other functions to find opportunities for continuous improvement or simplification of processes.
  • Establish relationships at multiple levels within the 3PL organization, and facilitate monthly operational reviews.
  • Work with all parties in an advisory/specialist/support capacity on supply chain initiatives. Seek input from Customers, 3PL and the local Hill’s team about their needs and expectations to continually improve Customer Service and Logistics.


Education/ Experience Requirements

  •  Bachelor’s Degree in Business Management, Logistics or related.
  • Customer Service & Logistics, Sales, or Supply Chain experience
  • Excellent interpersonal skills (internal and external, all levels).


Expected Areas of Skills

  • Fluent in English and Thailand
  • Data entry experience.
  • Analytical Skills: should be able to quickly analyze and interpret data thoroughly in complex and changing systems.
  • SAP: working knowledge and experience of all SAP R3 & APO modules.
  • Proficient computer skills in Microsoft Excel, Word, and Lotus Notes.
  • Strong customer service skills.
  • Innovative and willing to continually drive process improvements.
  • Excellent attention to detail and organization skills required.
  • Proven ability to optimally manage processes and projects.
  • Ability to think systemically and to identify and resolve problems.
  • Basic knowledge of the entire Supply Chain.
  • Ability to manage stressful situations effectively and maintain a positive attitude – this is critical in this role.

Travel Requirements 

  • Expected percentage of travel: 5% to 10% (domestically)
