Job Summary

Determine the strategy, gain buy-in from internal stakeholders and execute the plans with the distributors to gain market share and growth in SouthEast Asia 

  • Understand the local specificities of the Singapore, Malaysia and Indonesia market.]

  • Manage Distributor to drive sales growth and profitability through strategic business planning, KPIs alignment, and operational support (forecasting, order management).

  • Manage GtN, including pricing strategy, A&P budget allocation, and financial performance reviews to align with local objectives.

  • Analyze sales, inventory, and promotional data to generate actionable insights and refine marketing/pricing tactics.

  • Collaborate with regional teams to adapt global initiatives to local markets while monitoring competitor strategies and industry trends.

 

What You Will Do:

  • Strategic Distributor Management: Develop business plans, establish KPIs, and negotiate annual contracts to drive net sales, volume, and profitability. Actively support distributor teams with training, key account visits, and operational efficiency.

  • Commercial Finance & P&L Ownership: Manage the brand P&L, including pricing strategy, A&P budget allocation, Gross-to-Net (GtN) tracking, margins, and sales forecasting.

  • Omnichannel Marketing & "7Ps" Execution: Partner with regional marketing to deploy global strategies locally. Drive both offline and online visibility, manage e-commerce mega promotions, optimize shelf space, and support Vet education programs.

  • Data-Driven Analytics: Analyze monthly sell-in/sell-out data, inventory levels, competitor trends, and digital promotion performance to generate actionable insights and refine commercial tactics.

 

What We Are Looking For:

  • Experience: Bachelor’s degree or equivalent with 5+ years of progressive commercial/sales experience.

  • Skills: Strong financial acumen (business/financial analysis), digitally savvy, and highly proficient in Google Suite.

  • Mindset: Agile, resourceful, and results-oriented. Able to thrive in an ambiguous environment and build strong cross-functional relationships.

  • Communication: Fluent in written and spoken English, with the ability to influence internal and external stakeholders at all levels.

  • Travel: Willingness to travel up to 50% across the region.

  • The "Plus" Factor: A genuine passion for the pet industry—being a pet parent is a huge bonus!
