Job Title:  Customer Development Manager - BKK



-  Achieve key targets in the Vet Channel (Financials, SOM and BRMO)

-  Provide direct collaborate with veterinary professionals at peer level to ensure the highest endorsement for Hill’s and its brands.

-  Provide leadership, support and direction to the Veterinary Sales Team by helping members to identify and then exploit the most significant business opportunities per territory. Work closely with the Vet Sales Team on the implementation of national plans and programs (e.g. priorities, plans & processes and results feedback).

-  Persuasively communicate the technical superiority, practical application and commercial benefits of Hill’s to increase presence, recommendation, and sales in vet practices, referral centers and vet nurse schools nationally.



-  Develop and maintain high standards of knowledge in Hill’s business initiatives through training, self-study, customer meetings / market visits.

-  Keep tabs on trends in vet profession and maintain visionary (vet) assessment nationally

-  Ensure Vet channel achieve financial objectives (Sales, Margin, Operating contribution). Track investment versus budget

-  Implement agreed 5Ps plans to deliver sales, SOM and BRMO objectives. Review 5Ps execution and follow-up with team.

-  Ensure the Vet CD team receive all required materials to implement the agreed commercial plans

-  Define sales targets by territory / key customers.

-  Work with the TEs to set their routes.

-  Define call value and call productivity targets

-  Provide regular mentoring to the team (at least once a month coaching session with each member); provide timely, open and constructive feedback and identify development actions for their competency improvement. Track progress and address poor performers.

-  Participate in budget planning and KPI assessment.

-  Provide input to the commercial team on veterinary trends and KSF to win in vet channel.

-  Represent Hill’s as the strategic partner of choice in small animal nutrition to Thailand vet profession through attendance at conferences, meetings, seminars, practice visits and special events.



-  Bachelor’s Degree (preferred in Veterinary medicine). A MBA degree is a plus.

-  Sales management experience in animal health, pharmaceutical or other professional environment.

-  Field management, strategic sales planning and execution experience. 5-8 years of experience in leading sales team.

-  Experience & understanding of veterinary and pet industry.

-  Fluent in English.

-  Proficient computer skills in Microsoft Office and Lotus Notes.

-  Strong customer development skills.

-  Demonstrated ability to effectively lead sales plan execution.

-  Ability to think strategically and resolve problems.

-  Ability to handle stressful situations effectively and maintain a positive attitude

-  Good interpersonal skills and excellent ability to influence others.

-  Excellent communication skills (internal and external, all levels).

-  A growth oriented, ambitious approach.

-  Ability to travel
