Job Summary

 

  • As the Commercial Finance Specialist, you will primarily be responsible for the smooth execution of the end-to-end processes in credit management and deduction management while partnering with the Customer Development team for the Hill’s Pet Nutrition Thailand. 

  • Responsibilities include, but are not limited to: credit analysis of the customers & their credit ratings, deduction management, promotion evaluation and ROI calculation and customer profitability analysis.

  • Credit Management - managing customer financial information and assessing customer credit risk & responsible for  updating credit limits periodically.

  • Promotion Analysis - Responsible for understanding the customer(s)' financial drivers to the business and communicating the learning to the Customer Development Team so that the Retail Marketing team can develop more effective plans, programs, and promotions that are aligned with the customers' strategies and Hill’'s. Providing and recommending changes to the account business plans based on utilization of ROI analysis (Including distributor ROIs for Indirect trade role).

  • Customer profitability -Provide financial direction and leadership to the Customer Development Team. Responsibilities include leveraging financial analysis in order to enhance sales demand through Hill’s customers in a sustainable manner. This is accomplished by tracking the P&L and GTN of the customer, managing the profitability of the account, and by providing financial analysis and recommendations in order to meet our objectives.

  • Planning & budgeting & Month end closing- Actively participating in account planning and business reviews and monthly rolling forecast. Proper month end accruals sales accounting closing along with variance analysis v/s latest estimate.

  • Audit & Compliance - Responsible for ensuring the integrity and documentation of financial reporting related to the team's activity, its alignment with corporate policies and strategies, and that all accounting principles are properly followed

Education/ Experience Requirements

  • Bachelor degree or higher in Finance, Accounting, and/or Economics.

  • 3-7 years of relevant Finance experience (A few years of auditing and/or FMCG experience is preferred but not required).

  • Excellent interpersonal and analytical skills.

  • Good written and spoken English.

  • Familiarity with SAP, BI, and/or other analytical tools is a plus.
