Your Role: Independent Channel Customer Development Manager

As our Customer Development Manager (CDM), you will be the driving force behind our Brand with independent key accounts across Pet, Vet, and eCommerce channels. You won’t just manage accounts; you’ll build strategic partnerships and translate brand strategies into winning sales plans.

What You’ll Be Doing: The Core of the Role

  • Strategic Growth & Account Management: Own the annual business plan for your Pet, Vet, and eCommerce accounts. You will drive sales targets, secure premium shelf visibility, and lead the rapid distribution of New Product using data-driven Joint Value Plans.

  • Commercial Planning & ROI: Drive financial viability by preparing detailed commercial plans backed by rigorous ROI analysis. You will manage forecasting via the ATLAS system and allocate investment to align with brand strategies via our Commercial Process.

  • Leadership & Operations: Provide performance updates to the Country Manager, contribute to commercial process improvements, and ensure high-standard administrative management of claims and invoices.


 

The Ideal Candidate: YOU!

  • Proven Track Record: Experience in FMCG, Pharma, or Vet/Pet industries with a focus on Key Account Management.

  • Analytical Powerhouse: Comfortable in Excel and ATLAS (or similar ERPs), turning raw data into a strategic narrative.

  • Strategic Visionary: The ability to see the "big picture" while managing the granular details of a promotional calendar.

  • Collaborative Influencer: Able to work cross-functionally with Marketing, Finance, and Logistics to deliver results.

 

 

What You Need:

  • Legal Right to Work: You must hold full New Zealand working rights.

  • Driver’s License: You must be a holder of a valid New Zealand driver’s license.

  • Education: Tertiary qualified.

  • Mobility: Willingness to travel (up to 20%) to engage with customers and the field team.
