Key Responsibilities


The CDT Finance Analyst is a key commercial role embedded within the Customer Development team (Key Accounts team) in Auckland. 


The CDT Finance Analyst champions the commercial discipline and provides project leadership as required, account analytics and insights, conducts training within the CDT team as required, undertakes reviews and highlights challenges for the Customer Development Team as well as accrual management and month end closures.  


Ensuring the integrity of information data in various Colgate systems (Atlas, Google, SAP) as well as data manipulation, BI report writing and modelling of financial outcomes to support customer negotiations  are  also critical functions of this role.


If you are looking for a role where you are a valued business partner, providing specialised insights to support the key account growth, and the key Finance point person who liaises between multiple functions from a finance perspective, then this is the role for you.  


To be considered for this role you must have a degree in Accountancy, Finance or Business and also be a member of a recognised Accountancy body such CAANZ.


The successful candidate will also have the following experience or personal capabilities :


  • Have had significant FMCG experience.
  • Have worked with a Tier 1 financial system such as SAP, have experience with BI tools and report writing.Be confident manipulating and transferring data between systems. 
  • Can effectively business partner with a high performing Customer Development Team.
  • Can lead business systems projects or deployments.
  • Be a self starter who can identify and implement meaningful solutions for business systems and process opportunities.
