Role Summary:

The Artwork Process Specialist manage the end-to-end routing, approval, and prepress validation of packaging artwork within Colgate’s global artwork management platform. This role ensures brand packaging meets strict quality standards and print requirements while safeguarding critical on-time timeline milestones. By consolidating cross-functional feedback and aligning change requests, you will drive execution accuracy and serve as the main technical bridge between internal stakeholders and external agency partners. 

 

Responsibilities:

  • Global Artwork Routing & Approval: Execute end-to-end routing and approval workflows within Colgate’s global packaging artwork platform, driving process discipline to consistently achieve on-time routing milestones.
  • Quality Assurance & Verification: Review packaging artwork against Master Artwork guidelines and Artwork Reference files to verify graphic and technical accuracy prior to release.
  • Cross-Functional Feedback Consolidation: Evaluate project execution briefs, assign mechanical routing teams, and synthesize complex annotations from Marketing, Legal, Regulatory, R&D, and Packaging into clear, actionable direction for artwork providers.
  • Change Alignment & Issue Escalation: Coordinate and align mechanical change requests across cross-functional business partners, proactively resolving inconsistencies and escalating risks to the Routing Hub Manager and Design Execution Manager.
  • Lifecycle & Risk Management: Monitor project lifecycle timelines and task progress, actively identifying potential delays early and engaging Execution Managers and Project Leaders to drive swift risk resolution.
  • Prepress Validation & System Support: Validate technical prepress files by applying a foundational understanding of color separation and print requirements, while providing ongoing platform technical support and system guidance to global users.

 

Required Qualifications:

  • Bachelor’s Degree 
  • 1+ year of experience in artwork tracking, project management, or artwork production 
  • Advanced English proficiency (written and spoken) 
  • Experience managing project timelines, maintaining data accuracy, and communicating feedback to stakeholders 
  • Basic knowledge of Adobe Photoshop and Adobe Illustrator

 

Preferred Qualifications:

  • Experience working with artwork routing and approval platforms, such as ESKO
  • Basic technical knowledge of prepress processes, print specifications, and color separation principles.
  • Prior experience in the FMGC/CPG industry
