Scope of Responsibility:
The Supply Services Procurement Specialist will join a team of Procurement Specialists keeping a direct responsibility of all supply services (Utilities and Energy, Facilities, CEB and Automation, MRO, PPE, Forklift) for one or more CP plants in the EU Division. He/She will be also responsible for coordinating one or more categories at a divisional level. For the services directly managed the candidate will be responsible for ensuring the supply, cost, quality and service, spend management and forecasting, market knowledge, saving program coordination and reporting, Risk Management, while supporting innovation and new projects development for the service category assigned.
The candidate will work closely with Stakeholders (Director Of Manufacturing, Engineering, EHS, Finance) and Global Procurement as necessary for Project Timeline definition, Project Cost finalization, Contract terms and conditions alignment, Purchasing Mechanism and locking strategies. The candidate will assure alignment with Global and Divisional Procurement and Regional E2E Leadership for project implementation and procurement strategies identifying & addressing criticalities.
In particular the candidate will:

Execute the regional strategic sourcing process for Supply Services (MRO, Facilities, Utilities, Capital, etc.) contract negotiations

Contribute to Update/ Refine the 3 Year Sourcing Strategic Planning Process, including all aspects of the category ie. Supplier Segmentation, Spend Deep Dive Analysis, Internal/External market dynamics etc.

Obtain periodical category market intelligence insights, and perform annual benchmarking with external companies.

Participate in Industry events to be aligned with procurement best practices, and bring new ideas to the organization.

Lead the implementation of SRM program initiatives for strategic global and regional suppliers.

Expand the pool of suppliers to achieve simplification, and have a good understanding of regional/global supplier capabilities and geographical coverage.

Partner with key stakeholders on supplier evaluation process, to set up benchmarks for scope of work development and tracking, and feedback for continuous improvement.

Lead and track the effective division contract execution and management.

Utilize Ariba eSourcing application to execute bidding events (RFP, RFI, RFQ, or reverse auction)

Coordinate procurement risk assessment on the category suppliers and develop risk mitigation plans.

Follow the Global Procurement governance in all projects, CRMC (Contract Risk Management Committee) approvals, eSourcing tools, Supplier Code of Conduct sign off, etc.)

Promote Innovation, Pursue Savings goals for the category, and track regional results.

Be the key linkage with global Procurement leaders for the category, to secure full alignment.

Keep a strong alignment with Supply Services peers, setting up priorities for the managed spend categories.

Align with the key stakeholders. Escalate issues/opportunities as needed. Follow Stakeholder engagement best practices to better understand the business needs and align on resources and priorities.

Identify/Support category process improvements that are required to achieve the Procurement goals.
The Individual
Education:
B.A./B.S. Degree in a technical or business field
Experience:
3-5 years Purchasing or Supply Chain experience.
Direct experience in Utilities and Renewable Energy Procurement in an European country is a plus.
Engineering Background would be preferable.
Bachelor degree is a minimum requirement.
Languages:
Fluent in English and Italian is a must.
