The Global Analytical Sciences team is looking for an Analytical Systems Administrator.

 

Responsibilities

  • Serve as the Global Analytical Administrator for the following documentation systems:

    • LIMS (Laboratory Information Management System) - Add, edit or remove instrumentation and tests to update LIMS master data for all GTechs.

    • ETQ (Electronic Quality Management System) - Global administrator responsible for managing Analytical change controls, retire / void Analytical documents and process requests for revision of Analytical documents and validations in ETQ.

    • DMS (Documentation Management System) -Assign unique numbers to new SPI procedures, review formatting of documentation, review metadata and retire superseded global documents.

    • LMS (Learning Management System) - Create forms for new and revised SPI’s and coordinate with HR the addition of them in the LMS global training courses catalog.

    • Analytical Sciences Webpage - Serve as administrator and manage the Analytical Webpage in CoLab.

    • Data archival - Manage the Piscataway Analytical Sciences automated and manual instrument data backups on a daily basis in Piscataway Analytical Department

    • Laboratory Investigation Reports (LIRs). Review LIR documents during the manual interim process to verify completeness.

  • Lead the local verification of metadata and edit it as necessary in support of the document migration from LabNet to LabNet archival and migration from LIMS to ETQ systems.

  • Process and review online annual subscriptions to compendial pharmacopeias (USP, FCC, EP)

  • Process and review adhoc purchases of special non-catalog items and services using Turtles & Hughes, Amazon, Candex, Derive, Marfield, etc.

  • Assist on the management, distribution and purchase of analytical weight standards for balance calibrations and annual recalibrations

  • Assist on the management, distribution, purchase and inventory of analytical reference standards

  • Run daily to monthly reports for the Analytical systems to ensure compliance status with Quality and Regulatory expectations and highlight issues to supervisor and management. 

  • Provide next month report lists to assist analysts and managers for planning purposes.

 

Required Qualifications

  • Bachelor's Degree in Chemistry, Biochemical, Chemical Engineering or related field.

  • Understanding of laboratory operations and GMP expectations.

  • Possess knowledge of local regulatory requirements relevant to functional responsibility.

 

Preferred qualifications

  • Awareness of other technology functions and operations related to serving as administrator for global systems.

  • Ability to identify issues on the reports and communicate them to the supervisor and escalate critical issues to appropriate managers

 


Compensation and Benefits
Salary Range $70,000.00 - $96,000.00 USD

Pay is determined based on experience, qualifications, and location. Salaried employees may also be eligible for discretionary bonuses, profit-sharing, and long-term incentives for Executive-level roles.

Benefits: Salaried employees enjoy a comprehensive benefits package, including medical, dental, vision, basic life insurance, paid parental leave, disability coverage, and participation in the 401(k) retirement plan with company matching contributions subject to eligibility requirements. Additional benefits include a minimum of 15 vacation/PTO days (hourly employees receive a minimum of 120 hours) and 13 paid holidays (vacation days are prorated based on the employee's hire date within the calendar year). Paid sick leave is adjusted based on role and location in accordance with local laws. Detailed information regarding paid sick leave entitlements will be provided to employees upon hiring and may be subject to adjustments based on changes in legislation or company policies.
