We are looking for a full time professional member to join/expand our Digital Marketing team, leading the digital expression of our brands in digital products, platforms, tools and experiences that meet marketing and business objectives.


In this role the 'Digital content specialist' will focus on building stronger brand experience with our consumers in the Benelux, developing and leading the execution of strategies that position our Colgate-Palmolive brands as valuable everyday life partners mainly in search, content and social media. A priority will be the involvement in developing engaged social communities for our Sanex and Colgate brands, as well as designing with the support of specialized agencies the most effective content for our audience on social media.

 

Furthermore, this position is responsible for connecting with the e-commerce specialists within the West-European HUB (consisting of Belgium, the Netherlands, Luxembourg and France). Herein, (s)he functions as a core contributor to our digital transformation, being viewed as an internal and external specialist particularly as it relates to digital channels.

 

In short, this highly collaborative role involves participating on cross functional teams, developing appropriate and effective social media always-on influence plans, coordinating with the relevant departments to roll out our paid search strategy, our content and e-commerce content and social strategy.

 

Success in this role means ensuring successful campaign execution, building our position on social media and searching and demonstrating in-market success based on tracking and feedback.  Supplying the hub and local teams with insights on paid search, social & e-commerce behavior using direct consumer insights as well as tools at our disposal such as Similarweb is required aswell.

 

Key responsibilities


Social organic & influence content (35%)
●    Work with the digital manager on the annual influencer strategy across Colgate & Sanex
●    Collaborate with hub marketing on social content and the influencer content validation and strategy: create coherent, relevant, adapted content for social. Act as a guide for the marketing team distilling the specificities of each social network. Infuse local trends and needs in our social communication.
●    Manage the day to day social media agency in collaboration with the digital manager and hub marketing team when needed.
●    Monitor campaign performance and delivery.

 

Impira and eCommerce (32% of role)
●    Manage and update content, including new products and relaunches in Impira working closely with the Marketing and OAC teams to ensure that the best possible content for each product is published online/in the content management system Impira
●    Uploading text in Impira and approving content including text,
●    Uploading packshots and benefit icons in the upload tool linked to Impira
●    Maintain high level of Data quality in Impira monitoring with Impira Analytics (eg Status by brand)

 

Website, SEO and Paid Search (32% of role)
●    Manage all brands websites for NL and BE, making sure content is up-to-date, and anchored into our consumer journey leveraging tools such our similarweb and our search dashboard to put forward recommendations on content optimization as well as Keyword and ad copy lists reco.
●    Be the project lead for the Benelux websites content optimization and adaptations in collaboration with the marketing team: title optimizations, product optimisations, tagging optimisations with OAC, consumer journey optimisations
●    Monitor performance through website dashboard and give recommendations
 

Profile
●    University degree
●    Dutch with a good knowledge of English; French is a plus
●    Experience with using Digital Asset Management Systems
●    Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with experience of working cross functionally managing internal and external partners expectations
●    Experience or strong personal involvement with social media and influence including accuracy in data inputting
●    Initiative-taker who works accurate, organised and consistent under pressure
●    Excellent proofreading skills and an ability to apply style rules consistently
●    Knowledge of JIRA and creating tickets; experience with Search Engine Optimisation a nice to have!
