We are looking for a Brand Manager Sanex for the Netherlands - based in Weesp.  In this role you will be part of the Consumer Experience team of the Benelux.


What You’ll Do

Every day is different, but below is a sample of what you will experience and expect to accomplish:

  • Brand strategy: responsible for localizing the Sanex brand strategy in the Netherlands and building the brand throughout the full consumer journey. You will implement and evaluate the Brand Experience Calendar; (digital) media, social & always on and shopper activations incl. POS creation.

  • Manage the Sanex portfolio to achieve net sales, margin, profit and share targets.

  • Product strategy: you are responsible for completing the local product portfolio and 5P strategy for Sanex in the Dutch retail environment, development and execution of commercial plans, product introductions and relaunches

  • Media management: you will be (co)responsible for creating the annual media brief based on business priorities and budget needs, but also day-to-day management and follow up of the media plan. E.g. managing the social media calendar, the website updates and partnerships with magazines or publishing houses.

  • Budget management: Own and manage advertising and promotion budgets.

  • Accelerate digital roadmap of the brand.

  • An optimist in action; Dutch and English speaking. Hands-on “can do” approach, with willingness to learn and adapt quickly.

  • min 3-5 year(s) experience in Brand Management/Product Management (incl P&L and budget management) in a FMCG environment.

  • Having experienced digital transformation is a big plus.

  • Strong communicator who can stand up for what you believe, seek new solutions and opportunities and is able to drive clarity in complex situations.

  • Analytical - we’re a very data driven company. Knowing how to translate sophisticated data into simple solutions with an analytical approach is essential. Experience and familiarity with market research and analysis tools (e.g. Nielsen) is highly desirable.

  • High pressure - You don’t get easily stressed by pressure. On the opposite; a fast paced environment is what keeps you energized. You can juggle 1000 balls, balancing analytics, creativity and critical thinking while making quick progress in the rapidly changing business landscape.
