We are looking for a (senior) Brand Manager elmex & meridol to join our ambitious and winning team within our subsidiary located in Weesp (close to Amsterdam).
In this Brand Manager role, you will be part of the Benelux Consumer Experience team collaborating closely with Scientific Affairs, Customer Development and Digital Transformation team on working on one of the most powerful Oral Care Brands in Europe.
Every day is different, but below is a sample of what you will experience and expect to accomplish:

As the Brand strategist you are responsible for localizing the elmex and meridol brand strategy in the Netherlands and building the brand throughout the full consumer journey. You will implement and evaluate the Brand Experience Calendar; (digital) media, social & always on and shopper activations incl. POS creation

Manage the local product portfolio (includes artwork validation and SKU management) and 5P strategy for elmex and meridol, development and execution of commercial plans, product introductions and relaunches

Develop and localize all educational materials and inputs for professional sales materials

Media management: you will be (co)responsible for creating the annual media brief but also day-to-day management and follow up of the media plan.

Ensure strong executional and detailing plans, driving recommendation at the dentist and oral hygienist thru supporting our great Professional Oral Care field team in The Netherlands and Flanders.

Manage the elmex and meridol portfolio to achieve net sales, margin, profit and share targets.

An optimist in action: Dutch and English speaking. Hands-on “can do” approach, with willingness to learn and adapt quickly.

A proven track record of performance with at least 5 years of work experience in Brand Management preferably in Consumer Goods & Healthcare Goods, OTC / OTX. Experience in medical marketing & working with health care professionals is a clear plus

Consumer oriented, puts consumer needs and experience at the heart of all activities and decisions.

Having experienced digital transformation is a big plus.

Strong communicator who can stand up for what you believe, seek new solutions and opportunities and is able to drive clarity in complex situations.

Analytical - we’re a very data-driven company. Knowing how to translate sophisticated data into simple solutions with an analytical approach is essential. Experience and familiarity with market research and analysis tools (e.g. Nielsen) are highly desirable.
