Position:  Brand Manager  (Hill's)

Location:   Bangkok, Thailand


Job Summary:

Provide Retail Marketing, Business Analytics and Accounts support to the Thailand business to deliver business goals and objectives.  Work closely with Retail Marketing and Customer Development organizations to drive sales through business analytics, reporting and the management of field team automation tools.


Role & Responsibilties:

6Ps Execution

  • Define mandated assortment by RE and track compliance
  • Conduct Pricing Survey (quarterly)
  • Promotional activities:
    • Develop local tactical activities
    • Track execution of promotions (monthly)
    • Conduct pre-post promo evaluation (incl. ROI, ROO) and recommendation
  • Racks & Other POS material
    • Plan production and budgeting of racks and POS
    • Track implementation of POS material (monthly)
  • Timely develop material to support 6Ps execution (folders, detailers, electronic ppt, etc.) and send to field team
  • Define the ad-hoc incentives for the Field Force
  • Define the KPIs to be monitored based on channel priorities


Sales Data Reporting and Analysis

  • Analyze the business and identify issues / opportunities and provide summary to management
  • Create ad hoc reports and presentations as required (including sales meetings)
  • Provide recommendation to the CDTs (by TM) based on business analysis (e.g. NPD, Top 20 SKUs distribution, strategic initiatives)


Commercial investment management

  • Racks & POS material: track commitments and spending versus budget
  • Promotional activities: Track spending against planned budget
  • Track channel P&L versus budget and identify opportunities to increase top line and bottom line
  • Review commercial investment by TM / Customer cluster


  • In market competitors’ intelligence (New Products, Promotion activities, messaging)
  • Use available third party data to monitor competitors’ performance
  • Understand the Pet / Vet channel by visiting the field at least once a month
  • Field Team Automation: Support the development and execution of systems to automate field work
