We are excited to invite applications for the position of Mobile Games (C#, Unity) Developer within our Colgate Connect team. Operating within the world’s leading Oral Care Company, Colgate Connect is a small, dedicated group of people inspired by the possibility of leveraging new technology to make everyday life healthier. We debuted our E1 toothbrush in 2018 exclusively through Apple - it’s a true breakthrough and only the beginning.
We have a number of exciting projects in the works and are now looking for a C#/Unity Developer to join our team to help realize our vision. This role will involve translating design ideas, concepts, and requirements into functional and engaging games. The ideal candidate is highly self-motivated and can work well both independently and within a team. They are a self-starter, solution-oriented and open-minded, eager to learn new technologies and consider security implications in their designs of our constantly evolving connected health portfolio of products and services.
Specifically, this position will have responsibility to:
- Create consumer grade gaming applications and internal SDKs within the Colgate Connect Platform
- Support the creation of new SDKs for partners to leverage
- Identify opportunities to leverage new technologies to enhance the Colgate Connect Platform
- Work closely with internal team and key external partners plan and implement game functionality
- Collaborate with project stakeholders in design discussions to ensure all requirements are met
- Transform design specifications into functional games
- Establish effective strategy and development pipeline
- Design, build, and maintain efficient, reusable, and reliable code
- Ensure the best performance, quality, and responsiveness of applications and games
- Identify process and application bottlenecks and bugs
- Offer and implement solutions in a timely manner
Basic Qualifications:
- Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, Mathematics, Engineering or similar degree
- At least 3+ years experience developing Unity or Unity3D games with C#
- Good working knowledge of mobile UI design principles and patterns
- Strong experience with test driven development methodologies
Preferred Experience:
- Experience building apps in the MVVM pattern
- Working on Agile/SCRUM development teams
- Leveraging User Centric Design and applying User Experience concepts
