At Colgate-Palmolive Company, we offer an exceptional internship program within the Global Information Technology Department.  The IT Operations Analyst Internship for Colgate-Palmolive is a six-month paid internship, with the opportunity to extend. Our interns act as a key contact in our Production Control command center which handles all network, hardware, and business processes globally.


As a part of our IT Operations Analyst team, you will be:

  • Learning about & ensuring the effective operation of the systems environment through monitoring and resolving systems issues

  • Participate and collaborate in ad-hoc projects involving data analytics, automation, cloud migration and propose business solutions for improved productivity & efficiency

  • Working closely with a mentor and 3rd level support to ensure proper troubleshooting steps are followed ensuring maximum system uptime and availability

  • Utilizing event analytics to examine past issues and propose proactive solutions

  • Performing second level support and problem solving for all Data Center / Cloud systems to ensure the Colgate business is not impacted

  • Participating in daily operations such as tape backups, libraries, SAP recycles, printer setups & troubleshooting and KPI reporting

  • Working independently with Global IT members in different regions and Global Account Management teams to ensure that information is shared quickly and accurately to all relevant groups


Internship Requirements:

  • Minimum 3.0 GPA

  • Student Currently enrolled in bachelor’s (any year) or graduate program

  • Pursuing a major in: Computer Science, Information Technology, Computer Engineering, Business/IT Systems Management or related fields.

  • Authorized to work in the U.S. without requiring visa sponsorship now or in the future.

  • Flexible schedule, available a minimum of 20 hours per week with opportunity to work up to 40 hours per week in Piscataway, NJ. Group operates on a 14 hour schedule, 7 days-a-week, 365 days-a-year. Interns must be available to work days, holidays and weekends.

  • Able to work part-time during the Spring 2019 Semester
