This position will act as the first line of support for Supply Chain Manufacturing Applications (Product Life Cycle Management( SAP PLM) as well as lead or execute projects in this area.


Roles & Responsibilities


  • Understands and applies Information Technology standards to daily support and project implementation activities
  • Applying conceptual knowledge of business processes and technology to solve complex business processes and procedural problems.
  • Identify and assess new technologies and concepts that can add value to the business.
  • Manage and/or perform the design, testing, and applications of SAP & Non SAP systems configuration in line with agreed timeframes, business requirements, and global standards.
  • Document detailed specifications of configuration design, test and training programs
  • Maintain Production Systems reliability through correct utilization of GIT standard support and Governance processes
  • Support day to day business requirements according to Global SLA, respond to emergencies (24X7), sometimes working in shifts.
  • Deliver solutions to solve business requirements considering priorities and resources available
  • Partner with internal Information Technology Organizations such as Global Applications & Americas, Regional Shared Service Organizations, Risk Management as well Business Shared Service Organization & Business functions.
  • Build and maintain positive relationships with GIT Peers, Business partners, customers, and external resources
  • Participate and contribute in special projects or initiatives such as institutional programs, committees, and others
  • Lead and coordinate Project Implementation across the divisions.
  • Collaborate with other GIT and external partners to deliver business requirements
  • Ensure the proper use of Information Technology project management GIT 5 project management methodology to comply with Information Technology governance practices.


Education/ Experience Requirements


Minimum Education/Experience:


  • Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Engineering, Technology with desired Master’s degree in Business Administration in areas of Information Technology, Operations Management or Finance.
  • A proven track record of performance with at least 5 years on IT Role Collecting Business requirements developing, configuring and implementing or supporting planning applications in SAP PLM. Alternatively, the person should have experience in SAP ABAP programming, WD4A, Adobe, Workflow, FPM, UI5, Odata
  • Knowledge or hands-on working experience on all of these areas & experience is a must.
  • Ability to understand and debug the code in the case for candidates with the functional background is desired.
  • Strong oral & written communication skills with an ability to express complex technical concepts in business terms and business needs in technical specifications in English.
  • Very solid ability to adapt and work effectively with a variety of situations, technologies, individuals and cultures.
  • Ready to learn and work on existing and new areas of PLM.
  • Strong desire to expand knowledge to other Supply Chain Planning or ECC or newer technologies is required.
