Desired Candidate’s - Job Summary                

                              

This position will act as the first line of support for Supply Chain Planning Applications (SNP, PPDS) as well as lead or execute projects in these.

 

Roles & Responsibilities

 

  • Understands and applies Information Technology standards to daily support and project implementation activities
  • Applying conceptual knowledge of business processes and technology to solve complex business processes and procedural problems.
  • Manage and/or perform the design, testing, and applications of SAP & Non SAP systems configuration in line with agreed timeframes, business requirements, and global standards.
  • Document detailed specifications of configuration design, test and training programs
  • Maintain Production Systems reliability through correct utilization of GIT standard support and Governance processes
  • Support day to day business requirements according to Global SLA, respond to emergencies (24X7), sometimes working in shifts.
  • Deliver solutions to solve business requirements considering priorities and resources available
  • Partner with internal Information Technology Organizations such as Global Applications & Americas, Regional Shared Service Organizations, Risk Management as well as Business Shared Service Organization & Business functions.
  • Build and maintain positive relationships with GIT Peers, Business partners, customers, and external resources
  • Participate or Lead and coordinate Project Implementation across the divisions/
  • Collaborate with other GIT and external partners to deliver business requirements
  • Ensure the proper use of Information Technology project management GIT 5 project management methodology to comply with Information Technology governance practices.

 

Education/ Experience Requirements

Minimum Education/Experience:

  • Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Engineering, Technology with desired Master’s degree Business Administration in areas of Information Technology, Operations Management or Finance.
  • A proven track record of performance with at least 2 years on IT Role Collecting Business requirements developing, configuring and implementing or supporting planning applications in APO Supply Network planning.
  • Knowledge and hands-on working experience in SNP Optimizer are desirable.
  • Knowledge of ECC processes in the area of Production Planning (PP), material management (MM) or sales & distribution (SD) is desired.
  • Strong oral & written communication skills with an ability to express complex technical concepts in business terms and business needs in technical specifications in English.
  • Strong ability to adapt and work effectively with a variety of situations, technologies, individuals and cultures.
  • Strong desire to expand knowledge to other Supply Chain Planning or ECC or newer technologies is required.
  • Able to adapt and work effectively with a variety of situations, individuals, and technologies

  • Ability to identify, analyze, and resolve problems logically and systematically to identify and communicate root cause.
  • Ability to effectively communicate technical information verbally as well as in written formats.
  • Proficient English language skills
