Position Purpose:



We are looking for a Design Manager to join our team. He or She will manage the look and feel of our brands, turning brand strategy into effective brand experiences and design solutions that meet marketing and business objectives.



Let’s talk about main responsibilities:


  • Have a deep understanding and experience of Design strategy to support the company`s business plan
  • Drive brand and packaging excellence by maintaining and elevating brand equity standards
  • Develop inspiring design briefs based on marketing needs, being a fluent translator of business objectives into a sound design strategy
  • Manage design budget effectively and keep projects on time to meet deadlines
  • Be a good presenter to effectively articulate design strategy to get buy-in from internal clients
  • Be a fluent communicator to interact with cross functional teams to make projects a reality
  • Manage effectively the relationship with external suppliers such as Design agencies, photographers, production partners, among others
  • Ensure a flawless execution of design from conceptual development until the production phase. These includes conducting print production feasibility meetings, color target creation, audit of printing vendor with procurement, proofing pre-press, conducting post production reviews.
  • Be Knowledgeable of various printing systems understanding capabilities and constraint and good understanding of pre-press process



What you need for this position:


  • Bachelor´s Degree in Graphic Design
  • 8+ years of professional experience in design, focus on brand and packaging design
  • Advanced English level
  • Hands-on packaging design skills



Additional knowledge/experience in the following is a plus:


  • Digital design experience
  • Working knowledge of necessary software applications and platforms
