Position: Territory Manager

Location: Sao Paulo, SP, BRA 

Role Summary

The Territory Manager is responsible for managing a customer base of veterinary clinics and hospitals, building net sales, product mix, and growing overall Hill's consumption. This role focuses on increasing market share and BRMO (Brand Recommended Most Often) while staying abreast of the competitive climate in the assigned territory. You will drive the business by splitting your focus: 70% of your time dedicated to key clinics/vets and 30% to pet stores.

Main Responsibilities

  • Territory & Sales Management: Manage a customer base of veterinary clinics and hospitals to build net sales, volume, market share, and BRMO while improving product mix.

  • Commercial Execution: Ensure excellent coverage and 6Ps execution to grow net sales, drive volume, and implement the Perfect Clinic / Store program where applicable.

  • Customer Education: Educate customers through detailing and in-clinic seminars on the outstanding economic and nutritional value of Hill's pet diets and products to drive endorsement.

  • Strategic Planning: Develop creative, customer-specific strategies and joint plans to get results, based on comprehensive Customer Analysis.

  • Program Leveraging: Utilize Hill’s commercial and professional programs to drive product experience, generate professional endorsement, and rollout new product launches to increase in-store presence.

Required Qualifications

  • Residency / Travel: Driver License required .

  • Education: Bachelor's Degree (Preferred: Veterinary Medicine or related fields).

  • Core Competencies: Excellent communication, relationship building, presentation skills, and a strong work ethic with high integrity. Highly competitive, tenacious, and self-motivated.

  • Sales Acumen: Strong selling skills with the ability to persuade, negotiate, close, and a basic understanding of business terminology.

  • Organization & Passion: Excellent skills in time management, planning, handling budgets, and a genuine passion for pets.

Preferred Qualifications

  • Progressive experience in Sales, Vet Hospital experience, or Animal Health sales.

  • Recent commercial internship in a related field.

  • Certified Veterinary Technician-NAVTA.

  • Ability to relocate for future career opportunities within the company.
