Title: Sr. Technology Associate/Specialist, Analytics Engineering 

 

Brief introduction - Role Summary/Purpose:

  • This position requires a high-impact Data Engineer capable of connecting sophisticated technical processes with strategic leadership narratives. The candidate will manage the complete data lifecycle, facilitating ingestion within Snowflake and developing influential dashboards to guide organizational decision-making.

  • The role demands expertise in constructing resilient ELT pipelines through dbt and Airflow, combined with the professional insight to design persuasive visual analytics. Acting as a strategic advisor, the individual will convert Customer Development inquiries into actionable technical solutions.

 

Responsibilities:

1. Holistic Data Architecture Management

  • Architectural Oversight: Construct and oversee resilient, enterprise-grade pipelines sourcing from diverse environments into Snowflake tiered data structures.

  • Logic Implementation: Leverage dbt for sophisticated transformation processes, maintaining rigorous standards for data lineage and modular integrity.

  • Workflow Management: Orchestrate sophisticated schedules via Airflow while utilizing GitHub to enforce professional CI/CD versioning protocols.

2. Analytics Visualization & Narrative Design

  • Visual Mastery: Engineer high-impact dashboards within Sigma, prioritizing professional aesthetics and seamless user navigation.

  • Strategic Storytelling: Transform raw metrics into persuasive narratives, elucidating commercial trends and anomalies for executive-level comprehension.

  • Executive Reporting: Direct the automated distribution of high-priority analytics, guaranteeing absolute precision and adherence to reporting timelines.

3. Strategic Business Collaboration & Domain Insight

  • Collaborative Discovery: Facilitate strategic sessions with business leads to synthesize technical requirements.

  • Inter-Departmental Translation: Function as a technical advisor, bridging the gap between engineering capabilities and strategic organizational goals.

4. Leadership & Technical Mentorship

  • Standards Governance: Establish team-wide benchmarks for optimized SQL development and sophisticated data visualization methodologies.

  • Quality Assurance: Direct rigorous peer evaluations to ensure performance optimization and maintain consistency with brand presentation standards.

Required  Qualifications:

  • Academic Foundation: Bachelor’s degree within Computer Science, Data Analytics, Mathematics, or an equivalent quantitative discipline.

  • Professional Tenure: Over 3+ years of technical experience specializing in Data Engineering and enterprise Business Intelligence.

  • Technological Mastery:  Proficiency in Snowflake, SQL, and dbt transformation protocols.

    • Technical Proficiency: Skilled in Python development and workflow orchestration via Airflow.

    • Visualization Expertise: Professional-grade design capabilities in Sigma, Domo.

    • Ability to translate business requirements into technical specifications

 

Preferred Qualifications:

  • Communication Skills : Written, verbal and Business presentations skills 

  • People oriented 

  • Cloud Platform Acumen: Demonstrated experience with key services in major public cloud environments (e.g., AWS, GCP, Azure).

  • Agile Methodologies: Practical experience operating within Agile/Scrum frameworks, contributing to predictable sprint execution.

  • Advanced Data Governance: Familiarity with implementing advanced metadata management and data governance frameworks.
