Brief introduction - Role Summary/Purpose
The Accounting and Reporting Lead role is to oversee and manage the accuracy and timeliness of financial reporting during both actuals and budget cycles. This role ensures effective statutory accounts management, collaborates on advertising and promotion budgets, manages balance sheets and cash generation and supervises team members to achieve financial goals.
Key Responsibilities:

Lead Accounting and Reporting:
- Manage actuals and budget cycles to ensure accurate and timely financial reporting.

Statutory Accounts Management:
- Prepare statutory accounts accurately and on time.
- Collaborate with statutory auditors, CBS, and legal teams.

A&P and NVO Management:
- Oversee Advertising & Promotion (A&P) and NVO for CP India.
- Work with business teams on budgets, actuals, and control processes.
- Works on A&P spend effectiveness with commercial teams

Balance Sheet and Cash Generation:
- Handle end-to-end balance sheet and cash generation for both budget and actual cycles.

Collaboration:
- Partner with B&P, Marketing, CFO, and other departmental leadership teams.
- Work with Supply Chain Finance (SCF) and Customer Development Finance (CDF) teams.

Team Management:
- Supervise and lead two qualified finance professionals.
Required Qualifications
- CA Degree with minimum 7 years of relevant experience
- Strong leadership, collaboration, strategic planning, and financial management skills.
- Proven ability to work with diverse teams across multiple functions.
- Relevant professional qualifications in finance or accounting.
- Experience in managing statutory accounts and financial reporting.
- Expertise in SAP
