Brief introduction - Role Summary/Purpose: 

  • Leading with Impact: Own the end-to-end supplier compliance process, steering product integrity, regulatory adherence, and sustainability across Colgate-Palmolive's global supply chain.

  • Driving Sustainability: Partner directly with Quality and Procurement teams to champion environmental initiatives, focusing on carbon management and water stewardship.

  • Empowering People: Mentor and develop a high-performing team while managing core supplier compliance processes in a dynamic regulatory landscape.

  • Creating Value: Collaborate across functional groups to ensure our sourcing practices align with global environmental and ethical requirements.

 

Responsibilities:

  • Lead and manage the Supplier Compliance team while overseeing end-to-end claims processing for NToA, Halal, Kosher, and Specialty claims.

  • Coordinate pre- and post-audit activities for ESM and SRSA audits to ensure regulatory alignment.

  • Partner with Quality and Procurement teams to embed sustainable sourcing standards across the supply chain.

  • Drive key sustainability programs centered on carbon management and water stewardship.

  • Cascade functional goals, establish performance objectives, conduct regular reviews, and mentor team members for career growth.

  • Facilitate stakeholder communication to streamline cross-functional alignment and resolve operational conflicts.

 

Required  Qualifications :

  • Master’s degree in Chemistry, Pharma, Microbiology, Biochemistry, or a related scientific discipline.

  • Minimum of 5 years of professional experience in Supplier Compliance, EHS, or a closely related domain and 1-2 years of experience in people management.

  • Working knowledge of raw materials along with their environmental, health, and safety (EHS) profiles.

  • Direct experience or technical knowledge operating within the SAP EHS Domain.

  • Excellent communication skills (both written and verbal) for effective teamwork and cross-functional collaboration. 

 

 

 

Preferred Qualifications :

  • Knowledge of FMCG products, consumer claims, and fast-moving consumer goods regulatory standards. 

  • Hands-on experience with SAP EHS and specialized Audit Domain data systems.

  • Strong collaborative leadership, interpersonal, and stakeholder engagement capabilities.

  • Proven adaptability to adopt and integrate emerging EHS and Supplier Compliance technologies.

  • Highly organized and detail-oriented approach to multi-tasking in a fast-paced environment.
