CBS Contract Management Specialist

Role Summary

As a CBS Contract Management Specialist, you will drive the end-to-end contract management lifecycle across North America and Mexico, with potential expansion into additional LatAm regions. Sitting within the CBS Legal function, this role acts as the critical bridge between Legal, Procurement, and Supplier teams to deliver robust, compliant, and efficient contracts. You will leverage automated contract lifecycle management tools, maintain corporate contracting standards, and build strong supplier relationships that create sustainable business value.

Responsibilities

  • Lead the end-to-end contract lifecycle—from drafting through execution and compliance—for North America and Mexico, supporting broader regional expansion as needed.

  • Draft, review, and negotiate commercial contracts using automated templates, playbooks, and pre-approved clause libraries.

  • Manage complex legal escalations by partnering closely with Procurement, CBS Legal, and Global Legal to resolve key terms and align with business risk guidelines.

  • Supervise the contract execution process and oversee post-execution compliance, tracking performance obligations, SLAs, KPIs, renewals, and modifications.

  • Serve as the functional system administrator for contract lifecycle management systems, driving continuous maintenance, template updates, and configuration enhancements.

  • Maintain and support corporate contracting policies, guidelines, model forms, and strategic legal projects.

Required Qualifications

  • Bachelor's degree (Law, International Business, International Relations, Logistics, Business Administration, or related field).

  • 3+ years of experience in contract management and negotiation.

  • Strong ability to evaluate, negotiate, and interpret both commercial and legal terms.

  • Professional fluency in both English and Spanish.

Preferred Qualifications

  • Experience using automated Contract Lifecycle Management (CLM) platforms.

  • Knowledge of U.S. and international contracting standards and regulations.

  • Working knowledge of Portuguese.

  • Previous experience within a Consumer Processed Goods (CPG) or global corporate environment.
