Role Summary/Purpose 

 

This role will be responsible for managing the full scope of paid digital advertising, as well as the Hill’s professional digital ecosystem.

The primary mandate is to help develop, brief, implement, track and optimise all aspects of our paid for digital advertising campaigns, including website updates or new web page development  and Search Engine Marketing (SEM). The role will coordinate with marketing teams and agencies to deliver impactful initiatives on time and within budget, supporting brand objectives.

 

In addition, the role involves managing the Veterinary Mini-ecosystem to increase recommendations and sales by managing and optimising Hill's professional websites and digital tools. Success involves boosting veterinary engagement, market share, and leadership through digital platforms.



Responsibilities:

 

  • Paid Media & Digital Marketing Support

    • Collaborate with the digital manager &  brand managers, supporting teams and vendors (such as dev, creative, SEO and digital agencies) to develop, implement, track and optimise all aspects of our paid for digital advertising campaigns including SEO, SEM, 1P data tracking and display advertising & social advertising

    • Responsible for execution of local and global digital platforms, website updates and new page functionalities with technical teams, conducting comprehensive user acceptance testing (UAT) to ensure deployments are on time.

    • This role requires comprehensive briefs to:

      • creative agencies on digital creative elements required which may include short videos, images, banners, promo mailers, website / splash pages. You will be required to test, provide feedback on copy, design and facilitate approvals and sign off of creative.

      • media agencies on digital advertising campaigns, outlining the business objectives of a project and ensuring the correct targeting strategies and KPIs are in place.  Ensure creative materials are delivered to media agency on time.  Ensure these agencies are actively monitoring and optimizing the campaigns to achieve the best results.

    • Develop processes and a project / campaign plan spreadsheet and update to document project status, track progress and keep tabs on upcoming milestones.

    • Make use of strong analytic skills to:

    • Deliver regular reports of campaign results / analytics and assess against goals. 

    • Analyze SEO/SEM results and enhance the company’s brand and increase web-search visibility. 

    • Track and measure A/B and multivariate experiments, conversion tests and optimize for effectiveness.

    • Identify trends, patterns and insights, communicate learnings and make proposals to optimize spend and performance

    • Stay informed of trending topics/advertising strategies,  AI innovations  and social media trends to leverage and/or communicate accordingly.

    • Work within, track and manage budgets making necessary recommendations to scope and allocation

 

  • Veterinary Mini-ecosystem

    • Responsible for execution of vet mini-ecosystem, front-end design and functionalities with our global team, conducting full user acceptance testing (UAT), ensuring deployments are on time.

    • Collaboration  with relevant departments (Brand Marketing, Professional Veterinary Affairs, Customer Development, Customer Care etc) to ensure local promotions, launches are included in the mini-ecosystem. Brief local agencies to ensure brand content is relevant to to the target audience

    • Implement activities to improve Mini-ecosystem traffic to sites, conversion, and loyalty.

    • Maintain accurate product data for launches, updates and discontinuations.

    • Managing the customer service function related to the Mini-ecosystem

    • Manage budgets, projections, and Regional requests.



Required  Qualifications:

 

  • Diploma or Bachelor's degree in Marketing, Digital Technologies, Business, or a related field 

  • At least 3 years’ experience in digital marketing and advertising, with a proven track record of results demonstrating experience in SEM, display advertising campaigns, and email marketing. Including:

    • Experience in optimizing landing pages, UX and user funnels.

    • Solid knowledge of website analytics tools 

    • Working knowledge of ad serving tools

    • Experience in setting up and optimizing Google Adwords campaigns

    • Content management and CRM / online-platform management experience
