ABOUT THE ROLE

 

As a Brand Development Manager, you will play a key role in bringing our category strategies to life within the market. In this position, you will analyze insights, track local opportunities, and propose actionable plans designed to drive market share and meet our P&L objectives. You will act as a strategic bridge between commercial teams, marketing, and cross-functional partners, ensuring our brand strategies deliver meaningful value to consumers and the business.

 

MAIN RESPONSIBILITIES

  • Lead Commercial & Channel Alignment: Deliver clear business presentations and brand strategies to the commercial team, while partnering with Retail Marketing to co-build client and channel plans.

  • Drive P&L & Strategy Execution: Manage the brand's P&L and ensure the seamless execution of the 5Ps strategy across categories in Ecuador.

  • Optimize Pricing & Financial Analysis: Implement pricing strategies, manage system price/discount setups via the BPM process, and collaborate with Finance on margin and ROI analyses for consumer programs and activations.

  • Monitor Market & Competitive Insights: Evaluate competitor activity and shopper trends to design impactful, high-ROI promotions and point-of-sale activations.

  • Coordinate Cross-Functional & Hub Initiatives: Collaborate with regional hubs and agencies on tactical plans, raise timely operational alerts, and work with local teams to support successful product launches.

  • Shape Media Strategies: Propose innovative media alternatives to amplify brand presence and actively contribute to defining integrated media strategies.

 

BASIC QUALIFICATIONS

  • Completed Bachelor's degree.

  • Minimum of 5 years of experience in similar commercial or brand management roles.

  • Advanced level of English (written and spoken).

 

PREFERRED QUALIFICATIONS

  • Proven experience analyzing category trends and translating shopper insights into actionable plans.

  • Track record of managing and tracking key commercial KPIs.

  • Strong ability to collaborate, influence, and negotiate effectively with cross-functional internal and external stakeholders.

  • Clear focus on driving commercial results with a strong consumer-centric mindset.

  • Demonstrated ability to prioritize effectively and execute with excellence in a fast-paced environment.
