About the role

Are you a safety-first leader with a passion for environmental stewardship? We are looking for a dynamic EHS Coordinator to champion our safety culture and sustainability initiatives. In this role, you won’t just manage compliance; you will be the architect of a safer workplace, ensuring our team, community, and environment thrive together.

 

Responsibilities

  • Strategic Leadership: Develop and execute the annual EHS work plan, ensuring we don’t just meet but exceed corporate and regulatory standards.

  • Safety Culture: Lead accident investigations using root-cause analysis to turn "lessons learned" into proactive prevention programs.

  • Operational Excellence: Oversee industrial hygiene sampling, manage the EHS budget efficiently, and spearhead the operation of our Wastewater Treatment Plant.

  • Continuous Improvement: Manage our TRUE (Zero Waste to Landfill) certification and drive projects aimed at eliminating risks and reducing our environmental footprint.

  • Mentorship: Design career paths for your team and lead internal safety campaigns that engage every employee, contractor, and visitor.

  • Compliance: Maintain our Emergency Response Plan and keep our corporate databases (and indicators) updated and accurate.

 

Required Qualifications

  • Bachelor’s degree in Engineering.

  • At least 5+ years of experience in manufacturing environments.

  • At least 2+ years specifically dedicated to EHS roles with a formal EHS training OR 2+ years applying corporate safety standards.

  • Proficiency in Google Workspace (G-Suite).

  • Intermediate-Advanced English.

 

Preferred Qualifications

  • Proven ability to lead cross-functional teams and foster a "safety-first" mindset across all levels of the organization.

  • Strong interpersonal and presentation skills, with the ability to translate complex safety data into actionable insights for diverse audiences.

  • A proactive approach to identifying risks and implementing creative, sustainable solutions.

  • Experience with SAP, technical writing (SOPs/PPMs), and deep knowledge of OSHA or local regulatory reporting.
