Discover Your Purpose: Role Summary
As the Regulatory Affairs Specialist, you will spearhead the regulatory approval and product registration processes across designated markets within the Central America, South America, and Caribbean (CASACA) region. Reporting directly to the Area Manager based in Brazil, you will serve as the critical link between global regulatory units, cross-functional partners, and regional distributors to ensure uninterrupted product access. This role offers an exciting opportunity to drive regional compliance strategy, ownership, and commercial growth while pioneering process efficiencies and automation.
Your Impact: Responsibilities
- Lead and manage the end-to-end product registration lifecycle, compiling comprehensive dossiers to secure timely government approvals across regional markets.
- Oversee and audit the regulatory activities of third-party distributors, ensuring strict alignment with regional compliance deadlines and organizational standards.
- Partner closely with cross-functional stakeholders—including Marketing, Sales, and Technical teams—to accurately align the product innovation grid with commercial launch timelines.
- Maintain strong, transparent communication lines with global compliance teams to facilitate ingredient approvals and track master registration data.
- Drive operational excellence by continuously evaluating workflows, managing legal stickering/labeling requirements, and utilizing automation tools to optimize reporting efficiency.
Skills That Make Us Smile: Required Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree in Veterinary Sciences, Biological Sciences, or a closely related scientific discipline.
- 3+ years of professional experience operating as a regulatory affairs analyst or specialist, excluding internship or trainee roles.
- Advanced proficiency in English, featuring strong verbal and written communication skills tailored for frequent global stakeholder collaboration.

- Prior regulatory compliance experience within the pet food, animal feed, or pharmaceutical industries.
- Demonstrated success navigating complex regulatory landscapes and managing distributor networks within the Latin American and Caribbean markets.
- Strong technical acumen, including proficiency with standard productivity software (Google Suite) and emerging AI tools to enhance data management.
- Exceptional stakeholder management, multitasking, and organizational skills within fast-paced, deadline-driven corporate environments.
