Main purpose of the role:
The Group Brand Manager is responsible for managing assigned Brand and subcategories at the CEE hub level to set and achieve market share and P&L/financial objectives, in line with the company strategies. 

Estimated travels: up to 15%  visit in key country once/twice a year.

 

Main responsibilities:

  • Develops the brand growth strategies for the region (CEE) tailoring the global strategy to local market, consumer specificities and insights, cooperates with Brand teams in central EU marketing to finalize the support for brand/sub-brand. 
  • Leads integration of the countries and other functions needs and confirming with them the details of the commercial activity plans.  
  • Leverages knowledge of market dynamics, consumers & shoppers, competitors to enhance competitiveness and accelerate business growth for the assigned subcategories.
  • Coordinates development & timely implementation of CEE commercial plans for the assigned  subcategories in cooperation with countries.
  • Coordinates the implementation of the overall category & brand strategies agreed with  Division, including 5P guidelines to achieve/exceed market share & financial objectives.  
  • Works with Insights & Research team on preparing the actionable recommendations to address ongoing business CEE challenges, actively participates in EU Go-to-Market teams. 
  • Actively communicates with local markets, providing comments and feedback to specific plans developed by local RM and co-developed in terms of long term ambition:.
  • Develops category & brand portfolio strategy & SKU management recommendations for the CEE hub.
  • Cooperates with Media manager on communication of media strategy guidelines & updates to CEE countries and Media Agency for the subcategory/brand.   
  • Supervises and approves media planning & buying (flowchart laydowns, BPR’s to book media) for subcategory by country. 
  • Manages direct reports in alignment with Colgate Code of Conduct, CP values & Managing with respect Principles. Supports organizational changes whether at Global, Divisional, CE hub or local level. Ensures regular coaching & feedback sessions with direct reports.

 

Key Performance indicators and financial Accountabilities:

  • Is responsible for driving the following at the CEE level: 
  • Subcategory/Brand P&L 
  • Subcategory Market Share  and brand penetration
  • Key CS&L KPI’s for subcategory: DPA, SKU count, SLOB 
  • Advertising subcategory budget 
  • Effective & efficient spending management for subcategory taking into account brand and RM recommendations
  • SKU & process simplification
