MAIN PURPOSE:
The Customer Development Analyst is a part of the Sales Team and plays an integral role in using a team approach across all functional areas.  The purpose of this role is to develop profitable growth and to effectively support Key Account Managers, support the sales team in aligning CP offline & online initiatives in retailers to ensure we get our products into the POS, off the shelf, and into the home of our shoppers, cost effectively and more efficiently than our competition.
 


MAIN RESPONSIBILITIES:

  • Managing the selected customer under KAM supervision to grow sales, improve service and identify supply chain efficiencies by utilizing new techniques, tools, and information systems
  • Monitoring sales performance, gross to net, working capital and other performance indicators and taking action to improve performance
  • Implementing sales strategies and tactics that are aligned to broader sales vision and strategy and ensuring that the sales plan takes into account a broad range of Colgate internal / external factors
  • Conducting detailed analyses of trends (brand share, pricing, category sales, competitive products, and promotional activity) and gaining customer and CP agreement for a business plan that balances the needs and objectives of the account and Colgate.
  • Monitoring and controlling execution of promotions, listings and shipments of new products and promotions
  • Support E-commerce area (yearly Trade Plans, ecommerce workshops)
  • Support area of Atlas management (sales planning, putting promo activities in the system ) 
  • Use POS data in order to drive fact-based decision-making, improve promotional ROI and overall business performance for CP and the customer
  • Acting in accordance with “Competition Law”, “Rules of the Roads” and “Commercial Selling Principles”

 
REQUIREMENTS:

  • Degree in business administration, finance, or marketing
  • Experience in sales analysis will be an asset.
  • Good analytical skills
  • Ability to solve problems
  • Team player, ability to manage work under stress
  • Good communication skills 
  • Practical knowledge of Google Tools - an asset
  • Very good Polish and English
