The Facilities Manager will lead and optimise our integrated facility services  whilst ensuring C-P Villawood’s (VW) financial and operational goals and expectations are met by meticulous management.

  • Oversee the daily operations and long term planning for the CP VW  facilities including plans and systems to improve efficiency and cost-effectiveness of services.

  • Manage and update all assets in SAP EAM, with repair / servicing comments and related data as required.

  • Manage and facilitate all service providers providing services and support for the facilities.

  • Breakdown support and response for all hard and soft services under the responsibility of facilities management.

  • Proactive management, reporting and timely escalation  to all relevant stakeholders on matters pertaining to the facilities.

  • Manage soft services - cleaning, security, and waste disposal.

  • Ensure all assets being managed are compliant to relevant regulatory requirements and standards.

  • Participate in regular team meetings with the various site teams to identify inefficiencies and contribute towards continuous improvement initiatives.

  • Manage equipment technical library to a current state (e.g. source updated catalogues, documentations etc – softcopy and hardcopy) and prepare documentations including procedures as required.

  • Actively promote and maintain a safe work culture at all times and ensure compliance to relevant health and safety regulatory requirements.

  • This role will be an active  member of the DOSS committee.

  • Monitoring and reporting operational expenses, contractors and overall facility performance.

  • On site special event support and coordination.

  • Delivering established key performance indicators (KPI’s).

Required:

  • A strong technical background in engineering either at Bachelors degree in a relevant field or trade background with at least 10 years or more experience in an industrial / manufacturing environment.

  • Facilities management experience in an industrial / manufacturing setting.

  • Deep understanding of maintenance, repairs, and operations for a variety of key services and utilities. 

  • Strong knowledge of ‘hard’ services like HVAC, steam boilers, low and high pressure compressors, electrical, plumbing.

  • Strategic thinking in forecasting the facility’s needs.

  • Customer focused.

  • Strong understanding of workplace health and safety regulation and the ability to ensure the facility meets all legal and safety standards.

  • Experienced with Computerized Maintenance Management System (CMMS) – e.g. SAP EAM.

  • Competent in maintenance management and planning.

  • Excellent leadership skills and contractor management skills.

  • Skilled in budgeting, cost control, and financial reporting.

Preferred Requirements:

  • Diploma in Facilities Management or related equivalent experience.

  • Google Workspace knowledge.

  • Strong SAP knowledge
