Job Objective
The Customer Development Executive is the Company's primary contact with a limited number of customers (Hypermarkets, Supermarkets, Discounters, Cash & Carry) and prospects in a geographic sales territory. He/She is responsible for achieving sales in his territory, merchandising and marketing
objectives for all consumers’ lines.


Responsibilities
The Customer Development Executive plays an integral role in ensuring profitable growth by:

  • Building and managing relationships at the store level. Contact all key accounts and manage the relationship with the store staff.
  • Conducting negotiations as necessary. Executing in-store tactics and special events developed in partnership with Customer and maintains the planograms developed within Category Management projects.
  • Executing 5P tactics for C-P products based on Customer Marketing strategy and monitoring/reporting competitive 5P execution and conducting regular business reviews with customers.
  • Developing & implementing locally promo packs in order to boost sales at store level.
  • Monitoring sales and distribution performance, particularly for new products. Identifing any problem related, such as: shelf price and price tags, placement, assortment and out-of-stock, POP materials, etc.
  • Working with customer service and logistics to track orders, troubleshoot, and achieve customer service KPIs.
  • Working with logistics to plan, analyze, and forecast customer's needs and to ensure on-time and complete delivery.
  • Monitoring competitive activity at store level, recording and consolidating key activities, monitoring speed and breadth of distribution, etc.
  • Providing direction through coaching and feedback sessions to merchandising and promoters teams within the assigned area. 

 

Requirements:

  • University graduated
  • At least 2-year sales experience, preferably with a fast moving consumer goods company.
  • Good understanding of retail strategies, 5P tactics, budget and planning process in sales
  • Ability to maintain good relations with partners, negotiation skills
  • Solutions seeking approach to improve in-store presence, customer engagement, identify in-store opportunities
  • Experience with coaching and training of Merchandisers
  • Team player, to work with the Commercial Team to bring new, creative thinking to the plan
  • Good English knowledge
  • Clean driving license (B category)
  • very good communication and interpersonal skills, high level of energy and drive
