We are excited to invite applications for the position of Sr Brand Manager OC Health & Wellness which is part of the Africa/Eurasia Marketing Division team.  In this role, you will lead key strategic growth initiatives for Whitening across all OC sub-categories.

The job location will be Basel, Swizterland

How will you contribute to this role?:

As part of an international group, your main purpose will be to identify, develop and manage strategic whitening initiatives and projects to drive the Category and Brand, including new product development and Global projects for the Oral Care category.  

The principal duties and responsibilities are:

  • Planning, implementing and tracking New Product Launches and Re-launches in close collaboration with the international Marketing Team and advertising development with the agency.

  • Support the development and Execution of solid Brand strategies/plans and programs for the assigned segments within the Oral Care category.

  • Strengthening fundamentals - pricing / sizing, FTG, Simplification, RGM. 

  • Support and coordinate for Africa Eurasia marketing strategy on specific projects and programs to meet business objectives  

  • Lead and coordinate bundle development with R&D, Regulatory, Legal, Supply Chain and other key cross-functional partners

  • Interact with outside consultants including advertising agencies, public relations firms, market research consultants as per project needs

  • Frequent interaction with marketing departments of local Hubs

 

What are the required skills and competencies?:

 

  • Good marketing and commercial capabilities, with the ability to translate a marketing plan into a sound commercial rationale and plan of action.

  • Displays a strong growth mindset, results oriented, and ability to deal with ambiguity

  • Strategic and analytical thinking

  • People centric and ability to connect the dots

  • Relationship building, influence and negotiation, excellent written and verbal communication skills and decision-making and analytical competencies

  • Strong project management and business strategy planning skills, at national, regional and practice area levels 

  • Strong knowledge of analytics. 

  • Motivated, high energy, confident, with powerful initiative, creativity and curiosity

What are the required qualifications?:

 

  • Minimum 5-6 years of progressive relevant marketing experience; specific experience on innovation would be preferable.

  • Functional experience in marketing/ implementation of successful marketing plans, new products, digital campaign development

  • Experience in managing relationships with senior individuals and within a demanding and fast paced environment 

  • Experience in managing complex projects and external suppliers 

  • Seeking an international career path, open to experiences in different markets and environments.
