MAIN PURPOSE:
The person in this position will be responsible for leading technology transfer process and providing manufacturing support for implementation of new products and formula modifications, leading manufacturing process, continuous improvement and troubleshooting (non-conformances) activities.


MAIN RESPONSIBILITIES:

  • Manage and coordinate new product introductions. Support EMOs (GQS #21 Technology Transfer – Experimental Manufacturing Orders). Liaise effectively with all key partners (R&D, I&S, GSC, CMS and PD&I ) throughout the new production launch period.
  • drive plant scale-up in accordance to Tech Transfer process with leading role on EMO, process validation, equipment verification, process control and capability.  Help to review start-up learning, identify and effectively implement corrective actions
  • confirm key products/process parameters
  • provide technical support to operations team
  • provide appropriate samples to marketing/R&D for relevant consumer tests/ageing studies
  • update BOM’s and SKU database with needed information
  • Support all applicable technical regulatory requirements (FDA, MHRA, IMB, GIF) with focus on EMO, formula, process and process validation documentation. 
  • Work with manufacturing in order to investigate non-conformance (troubleshooting) and determine root cause with subsequent implementation of appropriate preventive or corrective actions. 
  • Assist in data-tracking/corrective and non-conformance SAP database with timely input of relevant information.
  • Support Product Stewardship and Plant Quality compliance ensuring the following requirements from the Global Quality Standards are meet:  
  • GQS 014 Product conformances: ensure all products obtained by current or new processes conform to key release specifications; ensure process control is documented and shown control for all identified key parameters.
  • GQS 020 Product Design and Commercialization: give guidance and support new process design
  • GQS 022 Process Qualification, Validation & Control: ensure fundamental process elements are in place. Key process parameters, optimal targets and corrective action limits are defined. Monitor and control process variation during manufacture. Identify and implement process improvements for reducing variation. measure process capability during Post-Launch stage to document performance and implement corrective action as needed. Support QC to assess data from on-going monitoring.Benchmark with other plants as needed and look for best practice. 
  • GQS 031 Change Control: ensure product, process, processing conditions and process control systems changes are identified, evaluated, reviewed, approved, implemented, communicated and documented.
  • Maintain formulas in PDM(Product Data Management) along with other manufacturing documentation systems (e.g. SAP). Maintain formula/raw material maintenance within SAP in order to provide BOM’s and case weight.
  • Prepare and manage Manufacturing Reports and InBatch recipes
  • Master and use Wonderware system for rapid investigation and root cause analysis of processing issues/non-conformances.
  • Coordinate and implement the batch validation process.
  • Perform quality training where necessary and assist in procedure implementation.
  • Support EHS/COSHH requirements: get SDS for all new RM, develop ones for new intermediates, bulk and support RM safety full assessments using the COSHH essentials process. 
     

Required Qualifications:

 

•    A Bachelor's Degree in technical or engineering field, MBA is a plus.
•    Minimum 2 years of experience in Quality, Supply Chain, R&D, and/or related technical experience
•    Fluency in English
•    Good knowledge of MS Office, Google tools.
•    Strong organizational, analytical thinking, problem solving, time management and follow-up skills with attention to details
