Brief introduction - Role Summary/Purpose :

The core purpose of a supply planner is to ensure that a company has the right amount of product at the right time to meet customer demand while minimizing costs. This involves balancing supply with demand by managing inventory levels, managing SLOB, and coordinating with various stakeholders such as the source plants, sales, and brand. They are the central hub for supply chain operations, responsible for forecasting needs, preventing stockouts and overstock, and reacting quickly to disruptions to maintain a smooth and efficient flow of goods from suppliers to customers.

 

Responsibilities :

  • Managing stock availability to meet customer requirements while maintaining optimum inventory levels

  • Handling finished goods replenishment

  • Ensuring timely delivery of new products and re-launches based on product grid

  • Coordinating with our sourcing countries for new products to ensure speed to market

  • Working closely with other departments to ensure all sourcing projects are intact and delivered on time

  • Planning product shipment with strict adherence to regulatory and custom requirements 

  • Coordinate with internal & external partners closely 

 

Required  Qualifications:

  • Minimum 3+ year experience in Demand and/or Supply Chain Management

  • Excellent oral and written communication skills

  • High level of numeracy and attention to detail 

  • Able to plan, prioritize, and flexible to changes

  • High proficiency in MS Office Applications (Word, Excel, Powerpoint)

  • Collaborative, customer oriented and proactive



Preferred Qualifications :

EDUCATION:

  • Bachelor’s degree in any Engineering course
