ABOUT THE ROLE

 

In today's dynamic environment, it is an exciting time to be part of the Customer Development team at Colgate-Palmolive! Our highly energetic team is dedicated to driving sustainable, profitable growth in an ever-changing landscape.

As a Shopper Development Manager, you will play a crucial role in shaping strategic direction, driving execution for key customers, and directly influencing our commercial P&L. By leveraging our Leadership Principles (LIFT: Trust, Impact, and Future), you will empower cross-functional teams, transform data into actionable insights, and champion innovative shopper experiences across all channels.

 

MAIN RESPONSIBILITIES

  • Drive Omnichannel Growth: Translate commercial strategies into innovative shopper programs across all channels. Lead the deployment of our CD EDGE strategy, reinforce CD fundamentals, and ensure flawless execution of Omni Demand Generation Plans aligned with shopper needs.

  • Champion Commercial Excellence: Co-lead the execution of the 7P strategy and align team performance with key financial objectives, including Organic Growth (OG), GTN targets, and Net Sales goals.

  • Lead Strategic & Analytical Governance: Conduct deep-dive analysis of the 7Ps to uncover growth drivers and root causes. Utilize advanced analytics and modern AI tools to build data-driven recommendations that expand Sales, Market Share (SOM), and Numerical Distribution.

  • Optimize GTN Investments: Manage GTN budgets with a clear ROI mindset to maximize category growth. Govern the Growth Choices Model to ensure tailored resource allocation while upholding the highest standards of integrity and commercial compliance.

  • Foster Strategic Collaboration: Build high-trust relationships with external retail partners and internal cross-functional teams (Marketing, Retail Marketing, Demand Planning, and CS&L) to align priorities, integrate diverse perspectives, and win the omni-shopper.

 

BASIC QUALIFICATIONS

  • Completed Bachelor's degree.

  • At least 5 years of progressive commercial experience (Sales, Retail Marketing, In-Store, or E-commerce) with a track record of driving outstanding business results.

  • Demonstrated leadership experience managing cross-functional projects or direct teams.

  • Exceptional analytical mindset with proficiency in leveraging data tools (e.g., Google Suite: Sheets, Slides, Docs) to drive strategic decisions.

  • Advanced/Fluent English proficiency.

 

PREFERRED QUALIFICATIONS

  • Minimum 2 years of direct Sales experience as a Key Account Manager (KAM) or Sales Executive.

  • Proven omni-channel mindset with hands-on experience in Retail Marketing or E-commerce strategies.
