What would be the responsibilities for this role?
 
The primary responsibilities involve building and executing strategic sourcing plans and risk management programs for indirect supply, services, and logistics. Additionally, the role handles operational procurement activities, including negotiation, vendor management, and daily problem-solving.

Success in this position requires strong internal and external collaboration to meet Hub, Division, and Global goals. The role is also responsible for defining segmentation strategies and actively managing the risk landscape, including market volatility, sustainability, supply disruptions, and policy changes.

  • Manages Indirect materials & Services, and Procurement processes to deliver performance objectives, as measured by corporate, division and local KPI's.
  • Accountable for the Services Procurement Key Performance Indicators (KPIs) and working with the entire Supply Chain, Customer Service and Logistics, and Commercials organizations to maximize results. 
  • Developing and implementing plans to achieve annual Hub savings and business simplification targets. Requires understanding Hub business priorities and regular interaction/alignment with Hub Management Team.
  • Ensuring that all Services Procurement mandates are complied (Involvement with all spends in respect to threshold, etc.)
  • Managing and building strategic business relationships, internally and externally.
  • Ensuring service and quality objectives are maintained and continuously improved, and all issues are resolved quickly.
  • Working collaboratively with stakeholder within hub, division and global spend Category Leaders, partners and suppliers to ensure centrally led sourcing projects meet local business requirements and are implemented efficiently. ( Including all Procurement activities ie Negotiation, RFP ,cost model analysis , Holistic Risk mitigation plan )
  • Implementing metrics, tools, and new processes to optimize sourcing, supplier innovation and business simplification (ie. Relationship Management Programs, KPI’s, Redesigning processes for simplification, etc.)
  • Developing and driving comprehensive change management plans to ensure organizational readiness for the implementation of improved sourcing processes and strategies.
  • Facilitating Cost Risk Management Committee (CRMC) approval when required.
  • Providing regular updates to the Hub Management Team on status vs. annual objectives, major projects, key issues, etc.
  • Maintain, with the help of category leaders, knowledge of best practices, processes, and technology trends and sharing this knowledge with Hub partners.
  • Map category footprint by increasing market intelligence, building a strategic framework and long term plans.
  • Ability to lead or participate in special projects/task forces at Division and Global level.

 
Basic Qualification  
 

  • Bachelor's degree in Technology, Supply Chain Management, Business Administration, Internal Business, Procurement or any other related fields.
  • Minimum of 5 to 10 years of experience in purchasing and procurement. Direct and service procurement experience will be an added advantage.
  • Proficient in project management methodologies and tools.
  • Understanding the Technical,  business, logistic and Project management field
  • Strong business and financial understanding
  • Proactive, Initiative driven, analytical and strong interpersonal & communication skills.
  • Good command of both English and the local language.
  • Strong negotiation, influencing, collaboration and stakeholder management skills
