As the Manager - Commercial Finance, you are responsible for reporting & analytics, coordinating resolution of customer financial issues and providing support to the sales team on rebates / customer planning, as well as, drive improvements in GTN Management for Malaysia & Brunei portfolio, and support the manager in South ASEAN hub consolidation. Your responsibilities include, but are not limited to: distributor growth bonus calculation/sales incentives, trade rebate management and preparation of GTN reporting, provision of first-line CDT Finance support to the Customer/RE, coordination with Customer Development and timely responses to customer- related issues or net sales management.
What you will do:
Forecasts & Reportings

Lead monthly Commercial Business Planning process

Communicate sales quarterly targets and provide reports on the team’s progress vs targets

Drive ROI (Return on Investment) mindset and develop analysis for the team on promo mechanics

Provide Sales team with all necessary analysis for customer’s yearly negotiations
-
Assists the Sales Controlling Manager with consolidation of the hub reporting
Gross to Net (Rebates) accuracy and completeness
-
Ensure GTN accuracy by mastering promotions information flow from Rebate accrual creation to settlement
-
Understand flow of information and approval need from CBP (sales planning tool) to SAP and secure approval for price reduction

Make sure that Temporary Price Reductions (TPR) and EDLP (Everyday Low Price) discounts daily are in accordance with price strategy

Manage pricing conditions in SAP (contracts)

Monthly reporting of GTN by customer’s account and nature of discount

Maintain close partnership and communication with Sales team & the Sales Controlling Manager

Monthly Closing

Check completeness of rebates for GTN, adjust with manual rebates where needed

Check completeness of invoicing with Shared Service Center

Complete monthly SOX testing requirements

Close Sales in SAP PA - analytical accounting

Reconciliations of balance sheet and income statement G/L accounts
Audit & Compliance

Champion internal controls in Sales & Finance processes

Maintain checks & ensure that the team & processes are compliant with SOX and audit requirements

Highlight gaps & drive improvements to ensure efficiency
Minimum Requirements:

2 years experience in trade/ customer finance or finance business partnering experience in a Multinational Company setup, preferably in a FMCG setup

Strong analytical skills and understanding of Financial Statement impact, Business Insights, Business Perspective & Partnering and etc

Proactive in highlighting & identifying gaps in our processes or plans and able to put forth recommendations with factual reasoning

Outspoken with good communication, presentation skills and business acumen. Proficient in English.
