As the Senior Brand Manager, you will lead the development and commercialization of end to end marketing strategies that deliver successful share, sales and profit targets for your assigned portfolio for the Colgate-Palmolive brands in the South ASEAN Hub (SAH), comprising Malaysia, Singapore, Indonesia & Brunei.
What you will do
Strategy & Planning:

Development of Brand / Category Strategy - Driving Brand Growth Plan in accordance with Category landscape and consumer/brand fit.

Development of the Brand Experience calendar across different parts of the marketing funnel & managing advertising budgets.
Delivering the topline & bottom line targets for the category

Align on key issues and drivers for the country in Business Planning Meeting

Identifies issues and barriers affecting implementation of brand projects and formulates action plans based on identified solutions.

Recommends brand promotional / merchandising programs and assesses how advertising practice activities deliver category goals.

Ensures plans are implemented with excellence on the ground

Manage the development of ‘path to purchase’ plans, for example brand activation, PR or others including post campaign analysis.

Partner with the eCommerce team to implement Brand Activation programmes as part Mega & BAU Campaign planning

Partner with Trade Marketing / Sales team to build strategic initiatives for category management and growth in omnichannel environment

Has working knowledge of brand P&L - and understands the levers that are available to drive net sales, margin and operating profit
Communication Development and Media Management

Drives insight identification and translates insights into effective creative briefing document

Ensures Project Briefs are translated into inspiring and relevant IMC communication while tracking performance in market course correcting where necessary

Works closely with the regional and global teams for alignment

Planning media across the marketing funnel optimising for performance across Attention, Consideration, Purchase and Loyalty
New Product Launch

Presents launch rationale to senior management and cross-functional teams

Coordinates New Product Launches and re-launches, in conjunction with Supply Chain, Finance and Sales.
Required Qualifications
-
Holds a degree Marketing or business related course
-
Minimum ten (10) years of brand management experience within FMCG environment
-
Digital savvy - knowledge on digital strategies and trends, have worked with e-platforms and digital agencies with proven results

Data savvy - knowledge on analyzing Retail Audit, Consumer Panel, Brand Health Tracker and Media data KPIs for strategic recommendations

Self-starter who can work well both independently and across multi-level stakeholder groups

Possess solid understanding of digital ecosystems and brand communications and deploy into eCommerce platforms

Strikes the right balance of demonstrating consistent brand passion with objective, fact-based decision making

Strong articulation & presentation capabilities

Strong learning ability and creative thinking
