Position: Production Planning Coordinator

Location: Sao Paulo, SP, BRA , Jaguare

Role Summary

The Production Planning Coordinator develops short- and long-term materials planning strategies to support all commercial activities as translated through demand and production plans and pre-established inventory and coverage goals of raw and packaging materials. This position is responsible for coordinating raw and packaging materials strategies in order to support operational execution, maintain stock coverage policies, and meet customer service targets. Key interfaces include Procurement, External Suppliers, Logistics, Supply Network Planning, Demand Planning, Subsidiary CS&L, Finance, CMS, Global Planning, and Human Resources.

Main Responsibilities

  • Supplier Management: Build strong relationships with vendors to streamline ordering processes, align lead times, and maintain optimal stock levels.

  • Inventory & Risk Mitigation: Proactively identify and resolve material shortages. Utilize SAP tools to manage supply alerts, track inventory projections, and minimize Slow-Moving and Obsolete (SLOB) stock.

  • Systems & Master Data Optimization: Drive 100% system-driven planning by maintaining accurate SAP/APO master data. Refine MRP parameters (Safety Stock, MOQ, lot sizes) to reduce costs and waste while improving service levels.

  • Cross-Functional Collaboration: Partner with Procurement, Global Supply Chain, CS&L, and external business partners to bridge supply gaps, execute network strategies, and hit primary KPIs.

  • Financial Alignment: Support stock coverage policies, manage inventory budgets, and deliver accurate month-end inventory reporting.

  • NPD Readiness: Coordinate with Marketing, Commercial, CMS, and Finance to ensure flawless material readiness and timely execution for new product launches.

Required Qualifications

  • Education: Bachelor’s degree in Engineering, Business Administration, or a related field.

  • Professional Experience: Combined experience in Production Planning and Industrial Engineering . Prior experience with Plant Segmentation & Materials Playbook tools, focused on SLOB and inventory reduction.

  • Technical Skills: Proficiency in SAP / APO, as well as proficiency in Excel and Google tools.

  • Language Skills: Advanced English .

Preferred Qualifications

  • Education & Certifications: Master’s degree or professional certification in Project Management, Supply Chain, or Operations.

  • Advanced Analytics & Tools: Familiarity with advanced analytics, predictive modeling, or AI-driven tools to optimize forecasting, inventory workflows, and decision-making.

  • Intermediate Spanish
