Position: Import and Export Analyst 

 Location: Anchieta - Sao Bernardo do Campo, SP, BRA 

Role Summary

Responsible for providing operational, fiscal, and financial support for import and export processes. This role drives the administrative management of purchase orders (POs) within SAP and Ariba systems, ensuring tax compliance and payment control. You will conduct daily monitoring of logistics routines (track & trace), analyze key performance indicators (KPIs), and support logistics expense controls. Additionally, you will serve as the primary point of contact (focal point) interfacing with logistics partners (3PLs) and internal business units (SNP, Engineering, and Procurement) to ensure supply chain fluidity and compliance with established deadlines.

Main Responsibilities

  • Import & Export Management: Manage end-to-end foreign trade processes, ensuring full documentation, fiscal, and regulatory compliance (customs compliance).

  • Administrative & Financial Control: Operate core systems (SAP/Ariba) for the creation, management, and tracking of Purchase Orders (POs), securing approval workflows, payment processing, financial accuracy, and tax compliance across all processes.

  • Logistics Cost Analysis & Costing: Monitor and control freight expenses (domestic and international) and customs fees. Formulate estimated customs costs (Standard costing) for imported materials/products, and analyze financial variances (PPV), reporting deviations and proposing corrective actions.

  • Monitoring, Automation & KPIs: Track operational performance (Track & Trace) and consolidate key indicators (KPIs). Leverage automation tools (Google Sheets, Google Slides, Data Studio, Domo, and Gemini) to optimize reporting, managerial/predictive analytics, and support data-driven decision-making.

  • Continuous Improvement Projects: Support process simplification, continuous improvement, and Lean Logistics projects aimed at maximizing operational efficiency, cost reduction, and supporting the department's strategic initiatives.

  • Stakeholder Management: Act as the primary point of contact interfacing with logistics partners (3PLs, carriers) and internal teams (Procurement, Finance, Engineering) to guarantee organizational alignment and resolve operational bottlenecks.

Required Qualifications

  • Education: Bachelor’s degree completed or currently in the final year of study in Administration, Technology Sciences, Foreign Trade, or a related field.

  • Experience: Practical experience in planning routines, material supply, and logistics cost management/structures (including domestic and international freight, customs fees, and variance analysis).

  • Language: Advanced English proficiency.

  • Technical Skills & Knowledge: Strong proficiency utilizing logistics modules within ERP systems such as SAP, and experience creating Service/Purchase Orders in ARIBA.
