Objective:
The objective of this position is to achieve excellence in delivery performance for our customers nationwide by effectively directing and leading the tracking team to ensure high levels of service.
This role involves evaluating carrier options, managing the Proof of Delivery process, analyzing the root causes of transportation issues, and implementing corrective actions to prevent recurrences. The position requires maintaining open communication with carriers, suppliers, and customers to promptly address and resolve any issues.
The ideal candidate for this role will demonstrate a strong sense of ownership and foster positive relationships with carriers and key stakeholders.
Main Responsibilities :

Delivery Tracking:

Address and resolve transportation-related problems such as delays, damages, and losses.

Develop contingency plans and mitigation strategies for transportation disruptions.

Responsable to analyze and control data for the Proof of Delivery (POD) reports to ensure accuracy and completeness.

Process Improvement:

Identify and implement process improvements to enhance transportation efficiency.

Collaborate with other departments such as supply chain, logistics, and customer service to streamline operations.

Create the SOP (Standard operational process)

Oversee and manage the budget process
-

Route Optimization:

Evaluate and optimize transportation routes to reduce costs and improve delivery times.
-
Use software tools and simulation models to propose the best routes and schedules.

Carrier Management:

Manage relationships with transportation carriers and vendors.
-
Evaluate carrier performance and implement improvement actions as needed.
-
Support the review and analysis of carrier contracts

Technology Utilization:

Utilize transportation management systems and other software tools to track shipments and manage logistics.

Leverage data analytics and emerging technologies to drive improvements.

Strategic Planning:

Participate in strategic planning to align transportation activities with broader business goals.

Data Analysis and Reporting:

Collect, analyze, and interpret transportation data to identify trends, issues, and opportunities for improvement.

Develop and maintain key performance indicators (KPIs) to monitor transportation efficiency and effectiveness.
