Join our team as a Transportation Operations Leader, where you will have the chance to make a significant impact on our global logistics operations. You will play a key role in selecting, negotiating, and contracting transportation companies, ensuring our partners meet the high standards of quality and service our customers deserve. Additionally, you will lead transformative projects and continuous improvement initiatives, optimizing our operations and ensuring the perfect balance between cost and service.

Responsibilities 

• Actively engage in the selection, mediation, contracting, and training of transportation companies for our F2C and Replenishment processes.
• Drive end-to-end transformation by harnessing carrier expertise and capacity to meet business needs.
• Lead the automation of transportation processes, implementing systems and tools for traceability.
• Develop tools and operational reports to support decision-making, balancing cost and service effectively.
• Monitor and control transportation spend to keep it within the established budget.
• Lead projects and continuous improvement initiatives focused on cost savings and operational efficiency.
• Develop and maintain key performance indicators to assess the effectiveness of transportation operations.
• Encourage strong working relationships with colleagues in transportation, warehousing, and security functions to ensure alignment toward the business objectives.

Requirements:

• Bachelor’s Degree in Industrial Engineering, Logistics, or Business Administration.
• 5-7 years of experience controlling transportation processes and carrier selection.
• Proficiency in english.
• Deep knowledge of the transportation industry in Mexico.
• Demonstrated project management and team guidance skills.
• Experience using SAP, TMS systems, and advanced Excel.

Preferred qualifications include: 

• Work experience in multinational consumer packaged goods (CPG) companies.
• Experience in logistics operations.
