The selected candidate will assume the role of Scientific Affairs & Education Manager Greece, reporting to the Pharma & Dental Business Manager. They will lead Scientific Affairs initiatives and educational activities, engaging with dental students, dental professionals, and pharmacists. Additionally, they will provide effective support for the pharmacy and dental business in all related tasks.

 

Job Purpose 

Drive Colgate brands as the preferred Oral Care partner for Dental Profession and Pharmacists through high level education and engagement activities.

Leverage KOL pool (Dental, Pharmacists, Public Health and other Oral Health Professionals) to build advocacy and recommendation of Colgate products among peers, young professionals and patients.

Be the preferred consultant and source of knowledge regarding Colgate brands technologies (internal and external).

The role works closely with Consumer Experience team, Pharma & Dental Business Manager, POC Coordinator and Oral Care Consultants. 

 

Main Responsibilities 

  • Lead organization and execution Colgate Palmolive Professional educational programs (seminars/webinars) including identifying external speaker / relevant topics within our professional strategy  

  • Lead planning and executing dental, pharma and public health fairs 

  • Responsible for dental student sponsorships and engagement including academic lectures and for collaboration and engagement with academia / dental schools 

  • Responsible for collaboration with Dental and Pharma associations as well public dentistry with strategic projects to lead on recommendation 

  • Leverage strong communication and networking skills to interact with key influencers and secure long-term sustainable relationships to drive recommendation/sales 

  • Deliver brand value story through engaging talks, presentations, demonstrations, education - face to face  & remote, to individuals & groups & larger audiences   

  • Deliver internal engagement and OCC training, participating to sales meeting, highlighting at scientific side our portfolio priorities and new launches per cycles

  • Attend both national and regional conferences to build/strengthen relationships with Dentist Association, Oral Health Organization 

  • Partner with other internal stakeholders to drive digital transformation on Professional Oral Care organization 

  • Travel: 30% time

  • Availability: Requires Saturday availability for participation in congresses (10-12 per year)

 

Background and experiences 

  • Bachelor or  Master's degree in Medical Science, Biological Science, Dentistry, Pharmacy, Chemistry 

  • Minimum 4 years of in field experience within dental, OTC or pharmaceutical companies or nutrition company 

  • Good understanding of health/life science & practice  

  • Work experience requiring superb communication & persuasion skills  

  • Familiarity with digital and remote presentation- & communication tools   

  • Excellent Greek & English, both written and spoken 

  • Holds a valid drivers license
