Role Summary
We are seeking a detail-oriented and highly organized Associate PLM Administrator & Data Steward to help maintain and support our Product Lifecycle Management ecosystem. In this entry-level role, you will be on the front lines of our data ecosystem, responsible for executing routine system configurations, supporting end-users, and ensuring daily data integrity. You will assist in bulk data imports, run routine compliance audits, and follow established Standard Operating Procedures (SOPs) to ensure our R&D and Supply Chain data remains a highly accurate "single source of truth." The ideal candidate is process-oriented, eager to learn enterprise system administration, and understands the foundational value of treating corporate data as a strategic asset.
Key Responsibilities
System Architecture & Administration
-
Routine Configuration: Execute daily system configurations, user provisioning, and role-based access assignments strictly based on established SOPs.
-
User Support & Testing: Monitor the helpdesk queue, track Incident Reports (IRs), and assist the senior team with basic end-to-end system testing during software updates.
-
Compliance Maintenance: Follow established system rules and workflows to ensure basic GHS, GLP, GMP, and regulatory compliance data is accurately captured and maintained.
-
Ecosystem Understanding: Develop an understanding of basic SAP/ERP supply chain touchpoints (e.g., ROH, HALB, WIP, SKU) and monitor how data flows from the PLM into downstream systems.
Data Governance & Master Data Management (MDM)
-
Governance Execution: Follow established Master Data Management (MDM) rules; assist in maintaining Product Data Dictionaries and resolving basic terminology/data entry disputes among users.
-
Obsolescence & Version Control: Systematically lock down identified End-of-Life (EOL) materials to prevent accidental use in new Bills of Materials (BOMs). Monitor systems for version control errors and assist in tracing historical specifications.
-
Strategic Advocacy: Learn and champion the best practices of data governance, understanding the long-term corporate value of accurate, structured data.
Data Lifecycle Operations & Project Management
-
Data Cleansing: Run routine reports to identify orphaned data, duplicates, and incomplete records, raising them for remediation.
-
Bulk Data & Archiving: Assist with executing standard data imports and bulk uploads using established system tools and templates. Execute routine archiving tasks for discontinued products and expired certifications according to established schedules.
-
Executional Excellence: Track project tasks, update basic project plan milestones, and consistently deliver basic data reports and high-quality system documentation on time.
Cross-Functional Communication & Change Management
-
Requirements Gathering: Assist Sr. PLM Administrators in gathering basic data requirements and user stories from R&D, Quality, and Supply Chain users.
-
Stakeholder Communication: Clearly communicate standard technical capabilities and data constraints to business stakeholders and end-users.
-
Problem Solving: Actively diagnose basic system inefficiencies, user pain points, and data integrity breaches, escalating complex issues to the appropriate IT or Business leads.
-
Change Management Support: Assist in updating Standard Operating Procedures (SOPs) and training materials to reflect new systemic digital controls.
