Role Summary:
This position leads financial planning, budget preparation, and internal controls management across Mexico, Executive, and LATAM consolidated functions. This role serves as a key financial co-lead and subject matter expert, directly impacting regional financial strategy, system integrity, and expenditure governance. The primary focus of this position is to ensure precise financial forecasting, robust internal controls, and leverage financial reporting across LATAM markets.
Responsibilities:
- Direct the end-to-end preparation, consolidation, and official reporting of budgets, latest estimates (LEs), and financial statements for LATAM markets (Mexico and export countries).
- Manage monthly and quarterly NVO and A&P expenditure reviews, performance tracking, adherence monitoring with business partners, and financial reconciliations, including the Hill's Division.
- Coordinate regional SOX compliance by updating design and assign the respective responsibilities, enforcing cycle deadlines, and co-leading internal controls, due diligence, and contract reviews.
- Supervise manual payment processes, administer financial portals (Taulia, B2B, Ariba), and co-coordinate functional expenditure training across the organization.
- Serve as the Subject Matter Expert (SME) for key financial systems (BPC, BWP, Sigma, CSIP, and SAP), ensuring accurate data entry, system alignment, and reporting figures for MRE and executive presentations.
Required Qualifications:
- Bachelor's degree in Finance, Accounting, Business Administration, or related field
- 5+ years of experience in financial planning, accounting, reporting, and internal controls (SOX) management
- Experience with SAP, BPC, Sigma
- Knowlege of the CP financial policies: Accounting, balance sheet, and reporting
- Experience managing procurement, vendor, and payment platforms such as Ariba, Taulia, and B2B portals
- Experience in financial closing and balance sheet management
- Proficiency in data analytics and AI to optimize the financial reporting
- Advanced English proficiency
Preferred Qualifications:
- Experience with CSIP
- Portuguese proficiency
